I have been looking at the schedules for SW in preparation for our trip out of BDL in April. How can you tell if the flight is direct, or one in which you need to chance planes? Some flights have a number 1 listed and others have BWI/1. I assume one is direct and one means you need to change planes, but I don't know which is which??!! Thanks alot for any help you can give me.

Click the circle in the flights- outbound, and return...then click "proceed' or whatever it says...

It then tells you- for instance, my flights I'm looking at say this.

Depart Manchester (MHT) at 6:00 AM
Arrive in Baltimore (BWI) at 7:25 AM
Change planes in Baltimore (BWI) departing at 8:35 AM
Arrive in El Paso (ELP) at 12:25 PM
Return Dec 07 Tue 2 ELP-MHT 2470 Depart El Paso (ELP) at 1:40 PM
Arrive in Manchester (MHT) at 10:20 PM

My return flight- has 2 stops- but I do not change planes. It shows under stops- 2

My outbound- says BWI/2
The plane stops twice, but I only change in BWI.

If there is no airport code- you do not change planes.
