HELP! How do you check in 24 hours before a flight without access to a computer? We're staying at CSR. Do you think we might have better luck just doing it at the airport? I wonder sometimes how SW divies up the A B and C passes. Maybe there's a certain amount for curbside, online check ins, and front desk check ins. Maybe you can check in 24 hours ahead online and get a B, but if you check in at the curb, you can still get an A or B. I don't get it!!!

You will be able to check in at the front desk of the hotel. They will check you in and print your boarding passes.

I usually have someone at home do it for me and then I just print the boarding passes out when I get to the airport.

During our last trip in May, I used my cell phone to check in. I got instructions on how to do it from Southwest's website.

That's good to hear. I don't have a web cell phone, or anyone at home to do it for me.

How do you check in from your cell phone. We'll be in the parks exactly 24 hours before our flight so that would be a great option! I love the disboards. The info. is fantastic!!!

I have used both my cellphone and blackberry they both work great .

Mobile.southwest.com Then it will ask you about check-in

Enter your Confirm Number and name it will OK you then reprint at the airport.-

Always like 45 A 45 B and the rest C sometimes you will get lucky and pull an A from the frontbut ,ost likely someone caught an earlier flight that opened the A that they all ready had.

I don't think I can do that on my cell phone. I'm not going to be at our resort 24 hrs. prior to check in at the front desk. Do you think I should just wing it and take my chances at the airport if I'm 2 hours early or should I check in online at the hotel 12 hours early? Is it really first come first serve no matter where you're checking in? I'm thinking I might have a better chance doing this at the airport. Any thoughts?

All the resorts have a concierge desk now. You can ask them to print the boarding pass for you. If the concierge desk is closed at the time your boarding pass can be printed ask someone at the front desk do it while you wait. Whatever you do I would try to get the boarding passes printed up as soon as possible, don't wait until you get to the airport. 12 hours early is better than 2 hours before your flight. If your 24 hour time is during normal hours just ask at the Concierge desk before you head out for the day. Be sure to give them the names & reservation info for everyone in your party.

If you wait at MCO you most likely will not get an A maybe even a B

Check-in at the resort they know already and as long as they are not busy they have no problem at all.

The resorts are excellent in helping with the SWA check in. When we were there in Dec, SWA was having problems with their computer system for a few hours right around our 24 hour check in window. The GF lobby concierge simply took my passenger and flight info and told us to come back later that night (we had to get to an ADR, so I didn't have time to make sure it went through). We got back to the resort around 10pm and sure enough - the CM had gotten through to SWA and checked us in - with "A" boarding passes. I was so impressed...not to sound cynical, but I thought for sure she'd get distracted and forget, or not feel that it was as urgent as I personally wanted it to be. So, yes, the resorts will happily do this for you!!

I used the concierge at the Beach Club tonight to print my boarding passes for tomorrow, even though I'm staying at Boardwalk. We had dinner at Cape May, went to the desk around 6:50, my flight tomorrow is 6:35. We got A's, #32 & 33.

I stayed at CSR last November. They will print out your boarding passes for you but you need to be there they will not let you leave them there .This policy may have changed if so I didn't know.

I just bought SW tickets this morning. I have never flown them before. What are the A's, B's and C's you are all talking about? :confused3
I imagine it has something to do with boarding, if so, could someone explain in detail please & thank you :)

Mickeyfan the ABC are the order that you board the plane. When you print out your boarding pass it will have the letter A,B,or C. The a's board first then B etc. It is preferable to get an A or B as sometimes the C's are unable to get seats all together. They have you line up to board the plane by your letter as well. You are able to print out the boarding pass 24 hrs before your flight and they will do it at your resort.I have had nothing but great experiences with SW so have a great trip. I see your from MA as well. Are you flying out of Providence? Great airport as well.

I wouldn't wait til you get to the airport. I flew SW to WDW twice in May. The first time we had POFQ print our boarding passes about 20 hours ahead and got A's. The next time I had Pop print our boarding passes about 10 hours ahead and got B's.

Do you tip hotel staff for printing your boarding passes and if so how much?

I didn't think you tipped the people at the concierge or front desk.

There are some spots reserved for people at the airport, so getting to the airport 5 hours early might get you a better pass than checking-in online 6 hours early. But I don't think being there 2-hours early at MCO will do you any good.

In any case, I wouldn't wing it. Check in as close to the 24-hour mark as you can. If you can't do it yourself, find somebody to check-in for you and print your passes as the airport.

Have a great trip,
Sal
