Agreed, and sorry for the double posting. Let me tell you what competition has done for some of my business routes.
Last year, I was paying about $500 r.t for a 7 day advance BOS-PHL (no Saturday, of course). I just had to do this trip again, and was dreading the cost. Only this time US Airways quoted me $91 (yes, ninety one) r/t. Competition -- bring it on!
Now I am hoping SW comes to MHT, where that same route, on a commuter plane, now costs $750. Yes, I said $750. Sometimes I wonder what those airline execs are smoking.
Remember, these are not leisure type fares.
