We are planning to (FINALLY) get to SW this July. How hot is it sitting for the shows. I've found that during the summer sitting thru Beauty and the Beast or Indiana Jones is not bad BUT lights, motors, action last summer was unbearable. Is the seating for the shows at SW covered? Any help is appreciated!

The shows are either covered or in air conditioned theaters( Odyssey and Pets Ahoy).
Also in air conditioning sharks, manatees, penguins, and Arctic adventure.

July is hot, though and I often wet paper towels and wear them around my neck if we are there. There are misters on some of the walks and the kids can get wet in several places around the park.

i remember doing an early time for the clyde & seamore show on a warm day last may.....most of the 1st few rows across the stadium's bleacher-type seats were in the sun. the upper rows were in the shade.

we went to the shamu show around 12:30 p.m. & i think most of the seats were in the shade so it depends on the time of day.

Thanks for your help. It sounds like it won't be as brutal as I feared. I am excited to finally get to SW.This part of the trip willl be a surprise for my kids.

Thanks again!
