SW $79 Flights, MDW to MCO

SW still has $79 NS flights to and from Chicago (MDW) and MCO for the summer (quite a few in August). It encouraged us to add a quick weekend trip! With our SW credit, our FF miles, our DVC membership and APs it was less expensive to go back to WDW than to head somewhere close for the weekend.

The only down side from my perspective...It's kind of crazy how a great flight price winds up costing you in the long run (trans to/from airport, meals, extras)...
Who am I kidding?! It's so worth it!!!

No regrets - the kids will be off to college before we know it. I'm going to take advantage of the time and have fun with them while I can...before booking their time becomes really difficult!

I haven't seen $79 flights from Chicago in years! We were lucky enough to book at that price as well.

Holy mackerel! I came here to post something, all excited because I just got $99 fares from MCO to MDW . . . But $79?! Yeah, that's nicer! (But all gone, it looks like . . .)

EDIT: I should clarify that I was looking for the specific dates of my trip, which are from August 20 to August 29. So maybe those fares are *not* gone for other dates.

It's just so nice to see something below $300, below $250 is better, but $200 or less? Yippee!!!!

Our last few trips from MDW (or ORD) to MCO have easily been around $300. I'm hopeful these fares will come back around again. We're watching spring break from ORD and those are $400 plus (it's the week before Easter this year--> UGH!!!). Crazy!
