Suspicious Device Found Under Disney Bus???

So I'm sitting here watching the news, and it says that the bomb squad is heading out to Disney, and all Disney buses are grounded at this time...they are checking each bus individually. It also just said that some Disney employees have been evacuated. Wow! If you're at Disney, be careful!!!

Has anyone heard anything about this? I hope it ends up being nothing...

So apparently this is a big deal...they're showing all of the buses lined up to be inspected, and there are so many! Apparently the bus with the "suspicious device" was found near Animal Kingdom, and now Animal Kingdom is open an extra hour since they can't pick everyone up.

FYI for those who may be at the parks, now they are putting a white dot near the driver's seat on the window to indicate buses that are safe.

It's good that Disney is being cautious, and I hope the device is somehow a fluke and nothing dangerous.

Okay, I think it's channel 13? Yup, it says NEWS13. It just popped up a few minutes ago, so I thought that others might not have heard about it yet.

I hope it's a fluke as well. Okay, apparently it was underneath an out-of-service bus that was in the maintenance area. (I'm watching the news as we speak). They are extending their taxi service to help accommodate the crowds, no one has been injured. The bomb squad is on the scene to check out the device, security is very tight. The maintenance facility has been evacuated, they are not sure what the device is.

LOL I feel like a newscaster, there is the latest Disney news brought to you by FSUDisneyGirl. Luckily everyone should be off of the buses soon, and everyone safe.

Orange County Sheriff's Office found that the device was not explosive or hazardous...yay! That's great news for everyone at Disney...I hope they get the buses all out and working soon!

Thanks for the updated info. I just received a text from friends that arrived in Disney today. They're in Epcot and heard the news from fellow guests. Since they're completely clueless it was nice to be able to send them the info that's been posted here.

This is pretty funny. You know more of what is going on then a guest who is in the parks now. The Dis brings us up to the min. news. LOL
