Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

d.kurtz,
Thank-you!!! I thought they knew where the boat was - I really think it's on the same island as the Tribe!! It appears to be up in some cove.

Julie Chen didn't spend much time interviewing Robb. He had a new hairdo - the top was bleached blonde and was spiked. The bottom was still dark brown/black and was much shorter. He also didn't have his jaw/below the lip ring in. Robb said he wasn't in it for the money - he wanted to grow as a person and feels that he accomplished that. I guess in Scottsdale, AZ he was named Bachelor of the Year (don't know when that was).

Robb was pretty jumpy on the Morning Show but was more soft-spoken and nicer than he came across on Survivor. He said he took the skateboard as a comfort item, something to remember home and good times, and that he often used it was a pillow - keeping his head out of the sand.

Hehe... SharonA... :) Checked public records while in Seattle! :) Somehow, had in the SSB birthday trace file.

Well, SSB thinks that the boat is on the island... AND, that the producers are the ones who had it "drift away".... ISSBHO ... makes for better drama.

:) :) :)

We still have a couple of dead weights to get rid of, but then is will start getting very interesting.... :)

I just finished watching the recording we taped of Robb on The Early Show. Excuse me, but he really looked ridiculous! That hairdo was just something I can't even describe. Spikey, punk-rocky, stupidity looking!

I know he is not a professional and I'm sure all the Survivors are nervous being interviewed on national T.V. but I thought this guy was going to jiggle his left leg right off his body! He was not relaxed at all, very nervous. And when they moved to the couch area he looked so akward and uncomfortable and too big for that couch! It was pretty pitiful in my opinion.

In addition to what Pam described Robb talking about, I have to add this. He was asked about getting so physical out there in challenges and particularly in that challenge when he tried to choke poor Clay. He said it was because Clay was so much smaller than himself. Robb did not intend to choke but just get Clay into the water and that's where his hands ended up. Interviewer made mentioned how *steamed* Robb remained after that and he said he was pretty much *steamed* that entire day. He was mad they lost the challenge and was a sore loser for *a few minutes, or more*!

SideShowBob - You know I respect you alot but I definitely disagree with you on this point. I am sure the producers insisted that no one rescue the boat when it started to float away but I truly believe that they would not have staged it to happen for better drama. There certainly is enough drama as it is without any help from the producers. But then, this is just Tulirose's humble opinion. :D

Pam and Tulirose, thanks for the morning show update!!

Hrmm.....

SSB shall certainly have to consider as possible, as thought so by my great friend (and very wise Survivor-watcher), Tulirose!!

:)

Just the high speed "going over to the boat" threw me, but I guess that it should not have.

SSB thought that the WISEST things that they ever did to make the game more "fair" last year (and to keep the viewers from then knowing who were the next few to be voted off)... was to stage the execution via the challenge of player by player... all of a sudden Pascal and others saw THEIR fate, and changed strategy... quite smart to turn the tables.

Ok, SSB is rambling... I shall stop... haha! Can't wait until next week.. and shall have to watch on tape as out with the kiddos for the night for Trick or Treat'ing.... :)

SSB very open minded. Thank you for considering my point of view as possibility!!

Also - I read over my last thread and I think I came off kind of rough on Robb. I certainly would be a nervous wreck being interviewed on national television. And actually, I felt sort of bad (even embarrassed) for him. I think it was his hair that started my frame of mind. I really hate it. He was kinda cute on the island but not now with this *do*.

I agree with SSB that the execution challenge opened up many eyes to their fates.

I also think the producers pulled a good one when there was a tie at tribal council last year between Kathy and the young girl whashername. If consensus could not be agreed upon, between the four left (Kathy, Whashername, V and Pascal) ALL left in the tribe could be voted out by the pulling of a purple rock out of a sack and, sure enough, because he would not vote against the young girl, Pascal was done in.

***NELEH - Whshername was Neleh or Neleah?

Not to cause problems, now that SSB and Tulirose are seeing each others point of view, but I think the boat thing is, shall we say, being manipulated by the producers. Remember in Australia, when they built their camp in a dry river bed and it rained? Their stuff floated away, but their rice miraculously got caught in a branch and they were able to rescue it. I didn't believe that was a coincidence then. Now, with the boat, I don't think the producers took it, but maybe stashed it in a cove somewhere, where they could maybe find it if they looked. Ditto, probably, for that big net the other guys lost, but they didn't seem to make much effort to locate it.

I have class on Thursday nights starting next week....waaaaaa! What was I thinking?

BUMP!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Beat ya to it Tulirose!!!

I'm hoping Jan or Clay. They both irritate me a bit! Wonder what the "twist" will be tonight with the merge.

ON SURVIVOR TONIGHT:
The two tribes anticipate a merger between them, but what they don't anticipate are the details.

New relationships are forged with caution, while one castaway parties a bit too hard.

One castaway pursues a new strategy, which leads to accusations of disloyalty.

A seventh person if voted off the island.

d.kurz - LOL! You beat me alright but only 'cuz I'm feeling a bit under the weather.....

There better be no little beggers ringing my doorbell between 8 and 9 p.m. tonight!

BuzznBelle'smom - You're not causing any problems... I've been called naive before! ;)

Hope Mermaid02 set her VCR!!

I agree totally except for the "a bit" part. Clay irritates me A LOT.

However, with the merge and individual immunities - who knows what will happen. People will want to vote off more serious threats and Jan doesn't really seem like a threat to anyone, does she?

"What comes around, goes around..."

Shii Ann played a bad game.

I can't wait until it comes around for Penny.Shi-Ann messed up.The producers were very succesful in what they set out to do.Shi Ann fell for it hook, line and sinker.I think the game gets more interesting each week and is quickly becoming my favorite Survivor since the first one.

LOL!! Is that what Penny said! I didn't catch the switcharoo! LOL!!

Ya gotta admit it - This was a GOOD one. The Powers-that-Be were very devious in planning this "twist" and they all fell for it!

Well, well, well, wasn't that interesting?!?!

I really with it had been Penny. I can't wait for them to kick her out.

WOW!!! I never saw that coming!!! Something didn't seem quite right when they didn't give them new buffs. or have them make a flag right away the way they always have in the past, but I figured they were giving them a day to celebrate the "merge" first.

As soon as Jeff said there was no merge, I knew Shi Ann was a goner if Sook Jai lost immunity. I'm glad she got a chance to tell the rest of the tribe how she felt. I thought it was kind of funny the way Ken obviously couldn't wait to tell everyone of her "disloyalty". I wonder what he considers his breaking of their alliance to be, if not disloyal?

WAAA! I liked Shi Ann and hoped she'd go all the way. She seemed to really have a lot of brains, but she blew it. Now I have to pick a new favorite. Think I"ll got with Helen.

Interesting twist - living together but no merge. Had to laugh - one day Ted is saying "we're one big family" and the next he made the comment that now they're sleeping with the enemy (or was it Brian who said that?).
