Against Russ and his ego. The could had voted for Mick too, but Natalie fooled Russ and blindside him just like he did to the others, she was smarted than him.

To blindside him, she would need to know she had the votes. I don't believe any of them thought she would win.

Truer words have never been spoken.

To be more specific. At work the Jury is Management. People like Russell have one goal - to get the job done even if that means stepping on some toes INCLUDING management. And guess what, the Russell person gets the job done usually through blood, sweet, tears AND a passion for their job.

The people like Natalie are the ones who are always pleasant at meetings, never upset anyone, schmooze management and have just enough to do with the project that when it is complete Management can look for someone to reward and there is Natalie. "She really kept the team together" or some other meaningless statement.

She gets the promotion, Russell gets sent for sensitivity training!

In the end, co-workers Respect Russell and Despise Natalie.

But you know, this is why I LOVE survivor.

I liked her too but I'm not happy that she won. For me, its apples and oranges.

Not True!

If you liked Natalie throughout the season that is fine. We are all attracted to people for different reasons. I have no qualms with someone liking Natalie and hoping that she won as long as it was throughout the season. That's picking a horse and sticking with it. Good for you!

Well I finally got around to watching the finale and the reunion show. I knew Natalie won and couldn't figure out how until I started thinking about how I would feel on the show and not watching the show. We don't know how Russell really acted out there. We only know what the producers showed us.

I fully expected Russell to win because he did play a great game and he made the show fun to watch. But obviously he acted like enough of a jerk that at least 5 people out there would not write his name down. I don't agree with them but oh well.

Bring on Season 20!

I think we saw one Russel the edited version of the production, the one that gives ratings and the rest of the castaways saw and interacted with the same jerk, egomaniac, obnoxious, self center guy but on a totally different way, more personal.

I don't dislike or like Natalie, I just knew that she had more chances because her votes were votes against Russ.

I think it's amazing how different Natalie looked, Survivor day 39 Natalie compared to Live Finale Natalie. Not that either looked better or worse, I just don't know if I would have recognized that being the same person if I didn't know ahead of time.
