I do hope the girls band together and boot Jon and Burton. I want Lil gone, too, because I don't want either of the Outcasts to win. I'm still not happy about that little twist.

Thank you! I stayed away from here since I had to tape the episode and couldn't watch until Friday night. Didn't have a chance to catch up until now.

No great conspiracy here - Sandra blew it in one of the biggest boneheads moves inany Survivor. She let Jon's comments at TC affect her vote. Had she stayed the course, she would have voted for Darrah, forcing a 4-4 tie. Then who knows? But she let her emotions carry her away and that totally changed the course of the game.

I still believe some of the rumors that Sandra turns out to be the winner. If that is to happen, the women will have to form an alliance to boot Burton. Whether Jon goes early or late, he will not/can not win the million. My bet is the final two will be Lil and Sandra.

I totally agree there. I know this show is all about twists, but bring back the 'outcasts' was not really right in my opinion. I really feel it gave them an unfair advantage. How can this all be about Outwit, outplay and OUTLAST, when you get rid of someone and they bring them back later?

There are two possible things going with Sandra here: 1) Sandra accidentally knocked Rupert out of the challenge, then got so ticked off at Jon during the tribal council that she broke ranks and voted for him without considering the consequences for Rupert; 2) Sandra wanted Rupert gone, but knows she needs his jury vote in the final so she can't afford to make him mad; therefore, she knocks him out of the challenge and acts like she's made a mistake, then casts a vote for Jon in the tribal council to break any potential tie, knowing she could say that she just got angry at Jon's antics. Werent' there five votes for Rupert - Burton, Jon, Darrah, Lil and Tijuana? If so, there wouldn't have been any 4-4 tie then no matter how Sandra voted, but then she may have thought that Lil was in their camp and intended to vote for Darrah.

If I were playing this game I'd be keeping an eye on Sandra.

Okay, I'm seeing comments about "hearing so and so won." Isn't that decided live at a future date? The final two may be known, but I don't think the "Survivor" woud be known at this point?

They do vote before they leave the show for the break until the live show. They always show Jeff leaving then returning with the voting jar. You know people look at the votes beforehand at normal TC because they try to keep the votes even as long as possible. Not sure if they do this with the final vote but they probably do.

You're right. Rupert did get five votes, so even if Sandra had voted for Darrah, Rupert still would have been voted off. Of course, we don't see everything that goes on. Lil could have told Sandra she had decided to vote Rupert off, so maybe that's why Sandra voted for Jon, knowing Rupert would be voted off anyway. This way she could send Jon a message, knowing her vote wouldn't help Rupert anyway. If that makes sense

You know, I totally missed that Rupert got five votes. I thought that I counted 4-3-1 at the end of the show. That means I was wrong about Sandra and her vote for Jon didn't make a difference.

true, her vote did not matter. But when she was voting she had no way of knowing that it would not matter. Had Lil voted for Darrah as they expected her to, Sandra's vote would have been the one that ousted Rupert.
