Survivor: Palau...official Thread

Does anyone else think that the challenges on this Survivor are much more "violent"? I mean the one where they were tackling one another in the water, the coming attractions for this week. I've also noticed that every one of the immunity challeges this time has involved water.

I was thinking the same thing!

I hate when they swap tribes- it seems like it ends up rewarding the loser tribemates, and penalizing the stronger tribe. I wish they would just let the weaker tribe dwindle. But then again, I really don't like most of the people on Ulong anyway, so losing them one by one is no great loss!
This is exactly how I feel about it. I wish they would just let the game run it's course instead of mixing up tribes this early in the game (assuming that's what is going to happen).

But I think they have to mix it up...to make the teams more even. If they don't, you'll have the same 6 people killing themselves every challenge, while at least 3 get to sit and rest on the other team. So, if it's a day between challenges, those 3 are getting like what? 2 days rest? Do you see where I'm going with this? On the Koror tribe, not everyone is always participating in everything, so, they are more rested and able to pick up slack from those who worked the last challenges. JMHO

I definitely see your point, but I feel like the Koror tribe has earned it. They've had physical challenges and totally dominated Ulong. If there is a shake up in the tribes, everything they earned could be out the window. For once I'd like to see the game play out instead of the producers interfering.

I see your point also.....maybe the producers do too? I just can't image them letting Ulong whittle down to nothing...before you know it, they'll be sitting most of Koror out, while 2 or 3 people compete...which isn't fair unless you're playing for individual immunity. (kinda goes back to the "rest" thing)

Thursday, March 10 at 8PM ET/PT.

Tensions rise within both tribes when they are forced to choose leaders for the next Reward Challenge. What role will the leaders play?

We saw this in the previews from last week. It must be Koror who don't pick some one in the time needed. But does this mean will will have a tribe shake up tonight?

One castaway becomes annoyed when a tribemate complains of having no energy and doesn't help the tribe.

This MUST be KIM! On Ulong.

Spirits are high within a tribe when they win a Challenge and an extraordinary Reward.

I think this is Koror. Just from the commercials that I have seen. I do, so want to find out what is on that boat!

It is still early in the game, yet signs of tribal division emerge when one group considers banding together to vote out a tribemate. Who is the unlucky one?

I also think this is Koror. I think it will be close but Ulong will win a IC. So now Koror, has to pick some one to go home, and the claws come out.

Don't forget to check your fantasy teams. Make sure you got who you want, and you have clicked on all the extra bonus stuff.

ALSO GOT MY TV GUIDE, SURVIVOR WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 16TH, NEXT WEEK. AND AGAIN ON MARCH 23RD. BECAUSE OF BASKETBALL!

I thought of this post while watching the show tonight!

They made a correct decision in getting rid of who they did.

I definately agree that Kim had to go or they would have definately lost the next challenges as well. I loved how she said the guys didn't do much to win the challenge when she herself also lost her bout. Maybe though that now we are getting smaller we will be getting more cerebral challenges so that rest isn't as big an issue.

well... you know just how strong homosexual hairdressers can be!

I can't believe he the nerve to say that!!

I thought it was funny how Jeff Probst asked Kim what she does to help out. She sits in the boat while the guys fish. :rotfl2:

I can't belive that Kim and Stephanie were acting like if it was James' falt they lost the IC. He worked really hard on that last match up to get Colby off that plat form, but Colby got him. But little old Kim was on there for what...a minute! If she had really put herself into the challange, and had won her challnge, and my math is correct, Ulong would have won, and James wouldn't even have had to face off with Colby again.

I'm upset that Ulong had to go to TC, but I'm sooooo glad that Kim is gone. I can not believe the way she acted in tonights show. "I need food! I know you do too, but I need it more! I'm getting dizzy!" :sad2: :confused3 Yea, because is just such hard work to sit on you bee-hind and watch every one work hard, and call them names and talk about how stupid they are.

Well, next weeks show should be intresting. Didn't really get alot of info from the previews. Well have to watch them again to see if I missed something.

I don't know why, but I'm thinking that next week the first two "outed" will be brought back to join the team with only 5 members, thus allowing them to not have to merge the two teams so early on. (Last night was only "day 11"). Just my gutt feeling.

Any way....I'm so glad KIM is gone. What a lazy, good for nothing. What really irked me about her is that seemed to feel justified that she did nothing around camp. I loved when Jeff point blank asked her about never getting in the water when they were out fishing and what she felt she actually did insofar as "helping" to fish. :rotfl:

I'm glad Kuror won both reward and immunity. They deserved that reward of a shelter!

That immunity challenge was brutal! The challenges this time are definitely more violent. Caryn showed how weak she is. AND I WISH ANGIE WOULD PUT ON SOME PANTS FOR THE CHALLENGES!!!!

While I think it'll make for more drama if they mix up the teams since Koror hasn't lost anybody, I really wish they'd just let Ulong self-destruct. It won't be fair to make anybody from Koror go over to Ulong. Koror worked hard to get where they are, they should just keep on going until the merge when it becomes every man for himself. (Unless the producers want to bring back Wanda and Jonathan and put THEM on Ulong - now THAT would be interesting!) :rotfl:

OOOOOHHHH!!! I LIKE that idea!!!

I don't think that immunity challenge was as much about 'strength' as it was about 'weight'. Coby outweighed James, he was just physically bigger...not necessarily stronger...gave him more "stance" during that challenge.

Stephanie kicks butt...I think she is one of the best female survivors I've seen in a while. good looks, GREAT attitude, AND she helps out alot at camp.

I'm liking how the challenges are alot different from the past...and that reward REALLY kicked butt...awesome.

I was watching ET last night. They showed a clip of the group building the bathrooms. I was so disapointed they did that. I wanted to wait for the show to see what was on Jeff's boat.

Glad to see Kim gone. I knew she'd be next after her boyfriend left and wasn't around to protect her.

Willard has a voice! I think last night was the 1st night I ever heard him speak!

I wonder if they will switch to more "intellectual" games now to try and even up the tribes. If they stay physical, the blue team won't have a chance. Each member will have to compete in every challange while each member of the Brown team will do about every other challange. That, plus the great shelter the brown team has, they will be VERY rested and strong. While, the blue team gets weaker & weaker.....

Just gotta point out 'cause everyone is so hung up on Angie's undies.....there are many people who go to the beach, who wear less of a bikini bottom than her undies. They don't bother me, but she could wear her "colors" over her bra more so they don't have to blurr everything. She probably feels that she can complete better without wearing the "dress/skirt" that she made.

That is exactly what I thought when they were saying that they couldn't believe Coby beat James. Weight had more to do than strenght in that challenge. It really pumped Colby up though.

I agree I think Wandy and Jon just might be coming back on.

If I were James I think I would throw myself to the sharks after losing that Challenge to Coby. Not once...but twice. I could not imagine the abuse he's going to take from his Redneck buddies at home. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I was ROFL :rotfl2: (just my opinion)

Stephanie is my favorite on the show! I hope she doesn't get picked off when they start getting rid of strong people.
