Survivor: Nicaragua Wed, Sept 15**No Spoilers**

He identified people by "color." He said he wanted to bring as many people of color to the end as possible. That clearly leaves out one race-- White. He's racist, and he's too skinny. That's unattractive and un-masculine.

Once again he didn't use the word "color." All he said he wanted to bring as many minorities to the end as possible. I have no problems with that.

He did say "minorities." I was wrong, but it doesn't make a difference. He's discriminating against people based on their skin color and heritage. I have no doubt he does this in his real life. He even calls that one girl "the asian sensation." Not cool. I hope he loses and everyone watches him like a hawk for the rest of his life.

Are you serious? I've totally called some of my friends the "asian sensation" before.. it's cool. You're a little uptight about this..

Just went back and ran through the episodes and sash does say minorities. He said it in the 2nd episode to Nay.

Really? I would never do that. I think it's insensitive and innapropriate to call attention to race while referring to a friend or anyone. I think you are wrong.

The first few times Naonka saud "purple Kelly" I misheard her and thought she said "Cripple Kelly" and was referring to the girl with the prosthetc. I almost put a fist through the screen before DH defused the situation.

Stay away from the boroughs of NY, that's how they describe people all the time! Depends on how it's said and the attitude, it's not always an insult.

It wouldn't have surprised me if she had said an inappropriate comment like that. She is so ill-mannered.

Thanks for the explanation... I was wondering.

It was their way of differentiating the Kellys diplomatically.
What I don't understand is why they still call her Purple Kelly when she's the only Kelly left. :rotfl:

ETA, just read back 2 pages and saw I posted the exact same thing as catsmom. haha

They probably still call her that because it's her nickname. :confused3

Well I'll be sure to take your opinion under advisement eventhough my friends are totally okay with it :thumbsup2

Well, one of my good friends would be disappointed if we ever stopped calling him by his nickname.

In College he was quite the Cassanova, and, since he was African-American, he earned the nickname, "The Afro-desiac." He's now married, and we're all older, but we still call him that. Even his wife! :rotfl:
