Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.....Lil. She was probably my LEAST favorite runner up in Survivor history. I think Lydia is golden compared to her. I agree that Lydia works hard around camp, is a morale booster, and tries her best in the challenges. I cannot imagine how she got through that mud- I think she's only 4'10" or something like that! I wouldn't mind if she was in the final two.

Aww, come on... remember Clay... he was pretty worthless, too. The only reason I was glad he came in second place was because I had him in the office pool. First and second place won money in that pool.

Lil was runner up? I don't remember that. Which season was that, Pearl Islands? Lydia is definitely better than Lil.

I know! I felt so bad because she kept saying sorry to them, but I would've like to have seen any one of them walk through mud that was as deep as their legs. She literally had to pull her entire leg out each time to try to take a step. It was like quicksand, and once her legs got all the way down in, she was stuck.

As a Gary fan, that's what I was worried about when his video was going to be shown. Fortunately for him, the camera focused more on his kids and their antics. I'm sure that he "coached" them beforehand not to say anything about his pro football career.

I like Gary because he just seems to have his head on straight. Jamie started weirding me out because of all the paranoia. Could you imagine being stuck in the jungle with that for days?!?!?!

I was worried too. However--coaching the kids might cause a "leak of info". I have a friend who's hubby is a former pro-player. I think he played only until they had their first baby. Anyway--the kids are just all about dad. The football career...not a big deal in there lives.

I was more concerned that they might film and there'd be paraphanelia on the wall somewhere. I'm guessing he coached his wife very well on that one.

Yep, it was down to Lil and Sondra I believe. Thank God Sondra won.

Clay was yucky too, but at least he wasn't voted out, and then got to come back! I just thought that was kinda bogus when they did that twist.

Just wondering of any of you knew that Jenn from Palau has breast cancer. I was reading that they found it at Stage 3 and she is currently in treatment. Another sad side note is that her sil died of brain cancer just recently.

That's so sad! She was quite young, if I recall. Hopefully she'll respond well to treatment.

I read that in People- so sad- I hope she comes thru it just fine. Her boyfriend is one of the brothers that was on the last season of Amazing Race (either Brian or Greg, I can't remember- the funny guys).

I'm a little ashamed to ask this, since I've NEVER EVER missed an episode of Survivor.....

But how does the Jury thing work again? Are they all still on the island but seperated from each other? Do they have access to the outside world (computer, tv, etc.)?

I was thinking that if they had a computer, they could find out about Gary's past.

The jury is still in the game. They have no access to the outside world, and they cannot speak to the remaining players. They do have a warm bed, and food, and a shower. I think they stay where Jeff and the Production crew stay. They have no way to find out what is happening in the game, other than what they learn at Tribal Council.

Hey, I had Clay in our pool too! Clay was the perfect second place guy; he was absolutely no threat in any challenges, and everybody hated him.

I had Johnny Fairplay too, and he was the ultimate #2. But stupid Lil crossed me up by voting him off in the final three. It cost me $20, but it cost her a million.

We're big time Gary fans in our household-but we're slightly biased because he lives in our town-Grand Haven, MI. My Mom is a high school teacher and had his oldest daughter last year in class and my coworker's son goes to school with his 4th grade daughter-they both played flag football on a team this year and Gary was there at the games. My coworker said he put back on the weight he lost and he looks great.

My Mom says he's just the nicest person and was always a very involved parent.

It's kinda funny-we lived in Dallas when he played for the Cowboys-we seem to be moving around together!
