I'm happy with who one...I did not care for Rafe at all so I am glad he was not in the final 2!

I missed all but the last 10 minutes of the show!!!

I forgot it was on. We didn't get home from the movies until 8:45, and then DH went right for the PS2, otherwise I would have seen most of it.

I hadn't thought about this before, but since they are filming the votes as they are cast and then editing them for the best reactions, at least someone on the show does know how the votes went.

Rafe won the first immunity (which we knew already). It was a really huge maze that they had to maneuver and collect different puzzle peices. It was close between Rafe and Steph. Before the challenge, a Mayan family came into camp and perfomed a ritual sacrifice of a chicken for them. They asked if they could eat the chicken (they had torched it) and the Mayans said no. Well when they came back from the challenge, the chicken was just sitting there. So the women decided to eat it, but Rafe refused to. Moments later a HUGE storm came and they all were afraid the Mayan gods were punishing them. Lydia was voted out at TC that night.

The next day the 3 remaining had the traditional "remember the castoffs" ritual. Then they went to the immunity challenge and it was endurance. They had to balance on a pivoting platform. Rafe was out first because he touched a post. Then Steph's legs just went out on her. Immediately Rafe went up to Danni and said to forget any promise she made to him in the past. She ended up taking Steph to the final two. It was the usual TC at the end. Why did you betray me yada yada yada. And you know that Danni won.

Here is my take on tonight's final episode:

(1) I think that Rafe and Stephanie made a mistake by not getting rid of Danni when they had the chance. Lydia was a much better person to take to the final three for both of them.

(2) Even if Rafe wanted to keep his promise to Danni, Steph should have voted for Danni anyway. If Danni won, she was in the same position of needing to win immunity. If Lydia won she and Rafe would have gone to the final two. She had a much better chance.

(3) Danni voted for every single person on the Jury except for Bobby Jon. Steph and Rafe may have been "running" the show, but Danni was also instrumental in almost everyone else getting voted off. Stephanie should have made that more clear. She was a leader, but Danni was a follower and voted with her under the radar.

(4) I wish Stephanie had won. Or Rafe. I think that Danni was a good player, but she rode on the hard-*** coat tails of the other two and ended up looking like a goody-goody.

(5) ETA: I think Danni stabbed Rafe in the back big time. Not that I wouldn't have done the same, but still ... I didn't like it especially when he kept her in the night before.

We said the same thing. I don't know if it's just because you get so used to them not wearing makeup and having their hair done or what, but I definitely think she looked like she had some collagen injections.

That was the first thing I said to my son also...she knew she was going to get at least $100,000 so she had a little 'work' done. I think she looked better before.

That is the first thing I said when I saw her tonight to DH, "She looks like she got lip injections and also hair extensions!" I would not have recognized her toinght if I did not know who she was. She definately did not look like "the girl next door" that she talked about being tonight!

But congratulations to her for winning, although I wanted Steph to win over Danni.

I told DH the same thing about Danni's Lips, Dh said that she looked hot, not like the hungry girl in Guatemala. She gained some weight too.

I'm glad Danni won. I really liked Stephanie until she started with that entitlement attitude, like when it came to winners sharing their reward challenges with her.

When sweet sincere Rafe told Danni sweetly and sincerely that he released her from all commitment to stick to an alliance, he set the stage for what happened. You can't go and make that offer, and then be offended when someone takes him up on it.

I don't think Danni looked like she had collagen injections. She was always very full-lipped, and now she had a lot more weight on her.

Danni may have voted off basically the same people that Stephanie did, but Stephanie had alliances that she broke that Danni didn't.

I agree. I don't think she looked like she had any "work" done at all; just way too much make-up on her and Stephanie. I also think Danni's mouth was dry, she was probably extremely nervous, and she kept licking her lips. Poor girl needed a drink of water. lol

When the reunion show first started my DH couldn't even tell they were the same people. Both of them are attractive enough without all that heavy stuff on their faces.

I thought she had lip injections too. She looked very pretty, but her lips were just nasty.

Steph looked awful. I don't like her anyways, but she's a very pretty girl. With all that makeup, she looks like a call girl.

Danni had some lip work done, you could tell by the roundness of her top lip. She probably had it done a month or go to make sure the swelling was less.

Also, no one did their own make up last night, hair and make up at the Hollywood studio had a field day with ALL of the contestants. I don't think you can really "blame" anyone for looking all made up, I am sure they didn't really have much of a choice. Also, why not look fantastic on national televion? I am sure after they see themselves looking so dirty and unkept for the past few months on television they were anxious for the world to see them as "babes", which they are!

I wonder what would have happened if they had voted off Danni instead of Lydia. I'm not sure why they went for her. She wasn't an obvious threat. Maybe they thought the jury would vote for her over the others just because she wasn't as instrumental in things as the others.

I actually thought Danni's face was prettier in Guatemala! I remember thinking the same about Amber for the All Stars reunion.
I figured a makeup artist on the show made them up, but it does not look like a professional did it.
I wanted Rafe to win, but glad Danni beat Steph!
