Survivor *Cagayan* BvBvB Next Wed 2/26!

Cass IMO was really after Sarah..just egging her on. I hope she goes next. Why would she want to be 6th when she appeared higher up in her tribe? All that talk about loyalty..out the door. At least Sarah did prove she was loyal.
As for water shoes Woo had on..really? Mine have rubber grips on the bottom. I would have been happy to wear them over bare feet.

I don't even think she was number 6, I just think she picked Sarah to make it a tie at tribal council.

I do not think anyone thought it was Sarah, and Tony must have picked her so that she would not be on the jury.

Sarah didn't prove she was loyal, she proved they all needed to kiss her butt in order for her to vote with them.

Cass let her ego get in the way, she should have bit her tongue and voted out whomever Sarah wanted out this week. Next week they would have the clear numbers and they could have voted out Sarah.

I think she went from probably 3rd in her alliance, to 6th in her new one.

She blew it, she would have been a part of an alliance that blew 2 idols out and voted a member out of the other alliance in the same tribal council.

Once of the worst moves I've seen in a long long time.

Totally agree. Bad bad move.

Bad moves by Kass and Sarah, but why did LJ give up his immunity idol to Tony??? Just in the spirit of camaraderie?

In any event, it's been an entertaining season.

Any guesses on what this new "secret-double-probation" immunity idol will cover? :teeth: Maybe it can't be given away? :confused3

After the tribe swap there was a lot of surprise that Tony didn't play his idol when Cliff got voted out. Given the edit, he should not have felt confident enough to keep that thing in his pocket. That led to some speculation that LJ and Tony had a side conversation that wasn't shown on TV. Perhaps they even showed each other their idols and swore to a secret alliance.

It's certainly possible and it goes a long way toward explaining why LJ would have given up his idol last night. Again, the whole idol swap could have been planned before tribal and just not shown to us. If the producers had revealed that alliance to the audience neither of those two tribals would have been as shocking.

What do you think? Is there an LJ/Tony alliance that the show has been hiding from us?

I don't know if they had an alliance but this could go a long way to creating a pretty strong duo.

Don't forget Tony has a lot of the Russell traits in him. He will be loyal to no one. No way would he keep LJ any longer than he has to.
As for getting rid of his police comrade, I don't think he is that smart to have gotten rid of her to prevent her from being a jury member. I think that just happened.

I don't think the move by Cass was so terrible. She may appear to be at the bottom of the six person alliance on the other tribe, but Tony and LJ just put targets on their backs by revealing idols that they had. Their moves during tribal council also showed how closely aligned they are. I could see Cass, Trish and and Jefra (maybe even Woo) eventually teaming up to take out Tony and LJ. Those two become much bigger threats as the game goes on.

If the new alliance of six is able to boot out Spencer and Latasha over the next couple of weeks, Cass will have no original alliance members and will not be viewed as a threat by the other tribe members. At that point, they will probably feel confident in their numbers and start picking off "alpha males".

Also...

I really enjoyed seeing Sarah getting completely blindsided after declaring herself "president" earlier in the episode.

I know most people think the flip by Cass was not a "smart move", but I thought Tony, by far, made the dumbest decisions during tribal council. First he announces that he has an idol, then he shows it to everybody, and then has Jeff "validate" it. He could have kept quiet and used the idol on himself instead of allowing the other players to switch who they were going to vote for once they realized who had the idol.

Cass is an (take away the C). She almost drove Sarah away from the vote with her bickering, then flipped on her own.
I guess that is Survivor though. Not a fan of Cass.

:lmao::thumbsup2

Sarah and Cass were equally bad. well, no, Cass is slightly worse because I think she may have just ruined what might have been a great end to the season by giving the lead to Tony and LJ. Seeing those two play their idols and the vote going to Jefra instead was so enjoyable. Sarah was unbearable so there was some small satisfaction in seeing her go, but not if it means one of Tony's 5 wins. ugh

Good point...that's the only possible explanation for the idol swap between the Tony and LJ. We just haven't "seen" that those two were tight. Evidently, the edit also didn't show why either Tony or LJ felt threatened enough to play their idols.

They probably had every reason to think that the vote was coming their way. Their tribe/alliance was at a 1 vote disadvantage and challenge threats are logical targets post-merge.

I think LJ was in self preservation mode. If Tony goes home, their alliance is finished. I think he and Tony both were just hoping for 5-5 at the end of the night.

I don't believe that the producers would hide an alliance from us. It makes good TV.

At least the two idols are flushed out. Can't add anything more to what has been said. For a brain, Cass made a track stupid move letting ego get in hey way.

I hope Spencer can survive this turn of events. I like the way he's playing the game.

You also have to factor in the account that she thought Tasha was turning her back on her as well so if you are going to be in the bottom of an alliance why not flip and get rid of someone who thought she was a great player.

I agree with her about Tasha, she doesn't seem trustworthy to me.

I'm so glad they got rid of Sarah. She went from being the swing vote to making herself queen. I laughed at the end when she said she thought they had a solid
6. Really?

Guess I'm the odd man out because I don't care for Tasha. Cass could gave a good game if she would just shut her mouth.

Didn't care for Tony in the beginning but I think he's played a good game. He's really in there playing and that's what I like. Not the ones that don't make any moves then make it far in the game.

Tony's certainly playing the game but I'm not sure if it a good one or not. His "Final 5" comment last week probably hurt his chances with Sarah this week. Actually taking the idol out and then playing it last night was not a great move either.

I don't think Tony is there to win. He's playing for camera time. Don't get me wrong, I love it. He's hilarious. His antics are much more fun to watch than Russell Hantz.
