I love Survivor and I'm always a little sad when the current season is over. I think the threads that talk about the new upcoming season are a great place to speculate and look forward to the coming season. A place to share with others who have a same interest as you.

Because a lot of us have been hanging out on a thread discussing the current season, or multiple seasons for some of us, and traditionally the thread for the upcoming season has always been started the day of the finale so a link can be posted in the current thread before it drops down the page and into obscurity.

It has nothing to do with trying to be first, and I'm sure none of us realized it was such an annoyance to some people. Feel free to ignore us and our Survivor thread/s though.

I'm in! I'm a Survivor fan from Season 1.

I like when someone starts a thread before the show starts. That way we have a place to post a cast list and we can check out the players before the season starts. Esp. now with a new format of "Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty". Will they start out as 3 tribes? Will there be any former players? Will "beauty" include only women, or will there be some hot guys, too?

I like when someone starts a thread before the show starts. That way we have a place to post a cast list and we can check out the players before the season starts. Esp. now with a new format of "Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty". Will they start out as 3 tribes? Will there be any former players? Will "beauty" include only women, or will there be some hot guys, too?

And most importantly, will their "beautiful" tribe actually contain attractive people?

I suspect 3 tribes.

I have some names, but I'm not the person who found them. The credit for that goes to Survivor Sucks (I read, don't post, though). The posters over there are really good at sleuthing and finding contestants based on twitter/fb activity, etc. I can go back and look for descriptions, but I remember things about a few of the probable castaways.

These are the suspected names and what tribe they think these people are on.

Beauty

Jefra Bland (pageant girl from Kentucky)
Jeremiah Wood
LJ McKanas
Alexis Maxwell
Brice Johnston
Morgan McLeod (pro cheerleader maybe?)

Brains

Spencer Bledsoe (college student)
J'Tia Taylor

Clifford Robinson (former pro basketball player I think)
Sarah Lacina (police officer?)

Like I said, this all comes from Survivor Sucks, but if this is right we're only missing maybe 6 people. That's assuming there are 18 total. I'll try and read back over the thread and find more descriptions.

Read it, if not interested, hit back button and move on to another thread. Easy, peasy.

As for the new "Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty" season, I'm already counting the days. Have never missed a single episode of any "Survivor" season, it's been one of my favorite shows for over 13 years now!!

I do hope there are 3 teams to start with, and males/females on each of them.

Getting in so it's in my subscriptions.

Per Probst next season does not have any returning players, and they are split into 3 tribes, Brains, Beauty, and Brawn. I assume it will be like other seasons where after a few weeks they switch up the tribes. Glad there won't be a returning player this time.

As far as the comment about why make the thread, I think it has been done the past few seasons, and this way I don't have to go searching for it when the season starts. I for one am glad to see the new thread created already.

People are crabby and spending money they don't have. It's Monday morning, and if they were like myself, I busted my butt, cleaning, baking, shopping and cooking and when I got up this morning, it looked like my house exploded again, and I don't have little kids. I have kids in their 20's and 2 just recently moved out with 2 more to go. I love them dearly, but treating my house like a dump off center is getting old. Luckily I went home for lunch and I gathered everything up, that was theirs and I put it in their room and shut the door. That is how I took my frustration out. I could of came on here and been snarky, but why do that when I am upset with my adult kids.

LOL, I have ONE 20 year old and since he's off school he has nothing but chores to do while I'm at work. I came home early and found out he does them about 2 mins before I come home but heck, I DID THAT, TOO!!
