I think I have the new twist figured out.....instead of a merge, all the tribe members will remove their buffs. I think 2 NEW tribes will be formed, each again with 5 members. I don't know whether they will give the tribes a new camp or let them live at the existing ones. It would throw them for a loop.....from the previews, I think Rob and Amber will be split up!!!

I agree that the tribes will be split up and Rob and Amber get split up as well. I'm just going from the previews last week (or two weeks ago) and the commercials this week. I can't begin to guess who may get the boot this week if they realign the tribes at the beginning. It will be lots of fun to watch tonight. I can't wait...less than 3 hours to go!!!

I can't believe who they voted off. Not that I wasn't happy to see her go but more unhappy that they let the other one stay. My DH wondered why the women didn't get together and vote Lex off. Why does he have so much control over the group? Did I miss something in one of the shows!!!

I was sad to see Jerri go actually, but glad it was her and not Amber. I guess I'm a sap because I was totally sucked in by the Rob & Amber romance tonight!!

Why wasn't it even discussed to get rid of Shi-Ann! Ick! That's who I want to see go! I actually think Jerri would have remained loyal to Lex but Shi-Ann would switch alliances in a flash if she thought it would help her.

I enjoyed tonight's episode very much, but didn't really see the point of their little picnics on the beach or the paint!

Yeah! Alex was showing some gamesmanship killing of the strong in his own trib but if they don't break up Rob and Amber their two vote lock gets bigger and bigger.

I don't trust Rob...he is never ever going to make this up to Lex like he promised. I feel bad that they are afraid of Rob to vote off Amber. I don't like Jerri, but they should have not been intimidated by Boston Rob.

I was bummed to see Jerri go, I really liked her this time around. She really went out with class too, I think she's 100% right about Boston Rob, he'll probably laugh at Lex if when they merge.

Although I like Lex, I think the women should've teamed up and voted him off tonight, he's been the one calling the shots, they should've gotten rid of him when they had the chance. Plus what if Boston Rob does uphold his promise, it didn't include them just Lex, silly girls.

I think Boston Rob definitely deserves to win this game(so far) if he can even manipulate the vote of another tribe.

I think that getting rid of Jerri was a HUGE mistake. Now Lex and his tribemates can count on being picked off one by one once the merge takes place.

As much as I hated Jerri in Australia.....I kind of liked her now. Yes she was lazy and annoying, but I really don't think she deserved to be voted out tonight She's stuck with her tribe through alot of losses, no food, no shelter, etc. I just can't believe they kept Amber (who I DO like very much) just because they were scared of Rob M. If that's how the rest of the game is going to go.....it will be a snooooooooooooze!

I was really hoping that they were going to vote out Amber. I don't think that Rob is going to keep his word and even if he does he only said that he'd look out for Lex. I don't know why they are so afraid of Rob anyway.

We had unexpected company show up right at 7pm on survivor night - what WERE they thinking?!
Anyway, just caught the last 15 minutes or so - how did Amber end up switching tribes?

They did a switch of the tribes. Jeff had all them take off thier old buffs, and then draw new ones out of a clay urn.

I think the hope was to break up Chapera. But it didn't really work.

All of Chapera (red team) drew green buff, except Amber who drew the last red buff.

So Rob, Alicia, Tom, Rupert and Jenna are the new Mongo Mongo.

While Lex, Shii Ann, Kathy, Jerri and Amber made up the new Chapera tribe.

And Jerri was voted off tonight, because Lex seems to think that the aliance that he made on the side with Rob at the immunty challenge, and the promises that Amber made before trible counsel will be honored. NOT!!!

It was a stupid move, they should have voted out Amber. Who really cares how mad Rob would have gotten when he found out that Amber was voted off. Now they will make him think that he is totaly running the game and he has all of them on short strings and when he is ready to get rid of one of them all he has to do is cut the string.

You can tell just by the previews for next weeks show, that he will begin to break his word to his own tribe mates. All he is worried about it taking Amber to the final two with him. They need to be broken up NOW!

Anybody think that buff switch thing was a set up? If they had the groups of 2 who lunch together stand together when they picked their buffs and the buffs were one on top of eachother in the urn then how they are drawn is kind of manipulated.

I wonder if the whole thing was to split up Rob and Amber?

I don't think it was designed to happen the way it did; if you listen to what Jeff says right before they draw the new buffs, he says "Line up any way you want"or something similar....I think it was just a fluke that the lined up in such a way that they got that result.

I said to my best friend last night, wouldn't it be fantastic after the "save Amber" move if next week, the new Mogo Mogo voted off Rob? Talk about a twist! LOL

I can't believe the new Chapera was intimidated by Rob. I wonder if there is some sort of "psycho" element to him we haven't seen, and that's the reason nobody wants him mad at them. Rob will not honor his promise to Lex, and will only keep him around as long as it suits him.

What were they thinking??? They should have voted off Amber just to show Rob that they aren't afraid of him! All they've shown is that Rob now controls BOTH tribes. How stupid can they be??? I used to think Lex had some brains, but now I'm not too sure. And if they were going to get rid of one of their own tribemates, it should have been ShiiAnn, not Jerri. Yes, Jerri is lazy, but ShiiAnn can't be trusted - she'll switch alliances at a snap. At least Jerri would stick to an alliance.

I'm getting very disillusioned of this All Stars - I think I like Survivor better when it's all "unknown" castaways.

I DID enjoy the immunity challenge though. Kind of nice the way they added the clips from past shows when playing the trivia game.

I'm leaning a little toward the other direction that maybe it was a good move for them to save Amber. This way next week when they(the new Mogo Mogo) see Amber had been saved it may sway them enough that when the merge happens the other tribe won't get picked off one by one because they'll remember how they(the new Chapera) saved Amber instead of just picking her off because she was one of "them". It actually makes The new Chapera look good. Does that make sense? LOL
I actually think it may have been a very smart move on their part. Rob may think they are intimidated by him, but let him...it will be his downfall! (Although I admit I like him)
