Survivor All Star OFFICIAL THREAD!

I just did not find last night very instresting so of course I started focusing on catty things. Did anyone else notice Boston Rob's facial hair. Did he win a razor in a reward challege?? He has a perfectly trimmed beard?? Is he trying to steal Colby's razor commerical?? When Richard was there where did he get that skirt he was voted offf in?? Was he trying to mock Rupert from last season?

I thought we where going to see never be seen before footage. There was not a lot of new material last night. Very bummed

Yes I was disappointed in last night's show too.

I saw early on that Richard had the skirt and shorts too. he often wore the skirt to challanges so he could lose it quickly in his attempt to gross out the other players  I also noticed that Jerri has two different outfits.

I hope the challanges and twists heat up. I am ready for some excitement.

Overall- I think the first part of tyhis season was a little boring but next week looks like it's going to really shake things up,

Unfortunately one of the most predictable things about this show is that it never lives up to the previews.

I disagree. There was a lot of footage not shown before.Colby and his rash...Rob and Amber making fun of Tom. The 'tribal council'. I mean really how much can you fit into a 1 hour recap/behind the scene footage.

For a recap show, I enjoyed it. Compared to new shows. Eh.

I did love the pseudo immunity challenge, and Rob C was great as Jeff. They were fun. :)

As for who's left, I'm also a little surprised.

Rob -- I'm actually liking him this time and think he's playing the game very well. Would I want to know him? No. Would I want him to be a friend? Not really. Would I trust him? No. Do I enjoy watching him? Yes. :) I think they're showing more charm from him this time than last time -- last time it was his "Godfather" scheming and arrogance they focused on. I'm sure it's all still there, but it's not as bad this time. Or, rather, not being focused on as much.

Tom -- I hated him in Africa, I hate him now. He's nothing more than an ignorant, prejudiced "redneck" who really gets on my nerves, especially with his opinion about women. I would *VERY* much prefer to see Rob win it over Tom.

Rupert -- I'm kinda blah on him this season. I loved him last season, but I agree, he seems to lack confidence and strength this time around. Probably didn't have enough time to really recover from Pearl Islands. But I wouldn't mind if he won.

Alicia -- I liked her in Australia, I like her this time around. I think she's a strong competetor with a lot of spunk and I wouldn't mind her winning, either. :)

Jenna -- No real opinion. Never saw Borneo and I haven't been to fond of her this season.

Amber -- Who's she again? :p She just is not memorable.

Lex -- I like him. I think he and Rob are the two best plotters and schemers left in the game this season, and I really liked how he honorably told Ethan he was going last week. Even if I didn't like him getting rid of his friend, he did the right thing in letting his friend know, and I respect him for that. Wouldn't mind him winning. :)

Kathy -- I liked her in Marquesas (sp?), didn't like her too much at first this season, but she's picking up again. She really blossomed well on her brief trip with Chapera.

Shii-ann -- I thought she was kinda fun to watch previously (where was she again? Marquesas, wasn't it?), but she's really gotten on my nerves this time.

Jerri -- Um. Bye-bye. Didn't like her before, don't like her now.

A lot more had there been less stuff we had already seen.

I thought that was really funny!:hyper:

Actually, I believe that Richard is wearing a Utilikilt. Click Here for an example.

There may have been a razor in that personal hygiene basket Chapera won. Yes, Richard was wearing a kilt and he wore it several times before he was voted off.

That is a Utilikilt. He claimed it was to prevent chafing, but after last night's info, maybe that was a comment to rile Colby :)
As someone else pointed out, maybe he just wore it because of the ease with which it could be removed.

My comment from last night's episode is to notice how much they featured Amber. She has always rubbed me the wrong way but at least she was never really featured before. Every time she speaks it does nothing to change my opinion of her. It must have been easy for her to mock Tina as they are so much alike.

It occurred to me that the amount of airtime Amber got may indicate she plays an important part later in the game, possibly the winner... Unless whoever cut together the episode just thinks she's "hot," lol.

Rajah,

Your quote is so long I'm putting it at the end, but I liked it!

Rob -- I agree. He does scare me because he seems as ruthless as a mafioso. I kept imagining him on The Sopranos.

Amber -- would not be where she is without Rob. I can see why you made that comment, but see my other post for thoughts on her.

Shii-Ann -- She's who I would say "who was that?" Not memorable at all before, and kind of irritating this time.

Tom -- totally agree!!!!

Rupert -- I was giving him the benefit of the doubt because I liked him the first time, until he dissed Sue. Even Rob said since no one knows for sure what she was thinking, in a case like that you had to give her the benefit of the doubt, but Rupert criticized her "agenda." As a counselor he should have been less quick to attack!!! (Btw the "private parts" message thread on this board has a post from someone that changes how I'll think of "Rupert" from now on, lol!)

Kathy -- hated her once she said she was "offended" by Sue's emotions. No woman should want to silence another woman like that. She is also playing a sleazy game and I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her.

Alicia -- acts tough, but can crumble to a wuss, especially on swimming challenges. Not a leader. I don't like her.

Jenna -- Was shocked she left her little girls to be on the show the first time, but now I'm used to her.

Lex -- I like him too, more than in Africa, and so far would like to see him win! He took a big risk telling Ethan so far in advance. It could have backfired if Ethan had garnered enough support. I'm glad it didn't.

Jerri -- is her own worst enemy. At least she is consistent and has her own strange integrity, and I appreciate straightforward people. I would probably be irritated by her in person, but I don't mind her on the show.

I didn't watch much of Wed. episode. But I checked my scores and I gotta love Rupert - 240 points for catching fish!!!

Go Rupert!

ITA. Certainly it is unpleasant to watch someone "lose" it, but Sue clearly felt violated. I'm sure that the conditions, (short on supplies, heat, boredom and separation) contributed to the emphasis that Sue herself placed on it. When you have the time to dwell on something you do. I can't fault her for her reaction but I do fault Kathy for being so unsympathetic. Pain is pain and to be so dismissive of someone else's is unkind. I lost all respect for Kathy and stopped rooting for her. Not that whether or not I root for someone or not will make an ounce of difference!;)

Jeri is the one who surprises me. I don't mind her this time. She's not my favorite but I don't hate her either. On Survivor Australia I was shouting at my TV ~ vote Jeri off. Get rid of her. My husband thought I was just a bit unbalanced!

Feels like ages since I've been on this thread and it will be a couple of weeks before I do again because I shall be going to travel to places much more sunnier and warmer than where I am now. ;) Keep up with the chatter. I love reading it. In the meantime, in early preparation for tomorrow night.....

The All-Stars gather for a Challenge, only to be hit with another twist that turns the game upside down.

The turn of events makes one unsuspecting castaway feel powerless.

A quick interchange between two castaways on opposing tribes attracts attention.

Don't miss all the action
Thursday, April 1 at 8pm ET/PT.

Does anyone know when the final episode of All Stars is going to air?

Thanks!

That reminds does anyone have the number for the extra bonus points. I wrote it down on some little piece of paper and who knows where it is now???? Thanks!

I got the newsletter, but not the other email with the number........does anyone have it? I think we have to input it 1 hour before show starts.

Thanks!

Anyone have any thoughts on who they think might get the boot tonight? I think it will be a woman since they have voted off so many of the men recently...maybe Jerri? ShiiAnn? Alicia? I really have no clue- this new twist has me intrigued!
