I understand that it IS a game, HOWEVER, is this any different that allowing a child who has cheated on a test to accept an A+ grade? I honestly have only watched 3 full seasons. I watched one episode of the first season and was totally floored. Silly me thought that to WIN the game, you had to prove that you were the best player by working hard, being smart on your survival skills...not being either a "rat or a snake"!
I enjoyed the second season because the players who competed honestly and actually worked made it to the final 2. Quickly lost interest in the following season because of the deceit. Loved the past 2 seasons (Pearl Island and All Stars) simply because I like how Rupert plays the game.
I just don't feel like rewarding people for dishonest behavior is a good thing...in REAL life or on reality tv.
