Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

That move by Parvati had to be one of the best moves of all time and it confirmed JT places as the biggest bonehead move of all time.

Just goes to show how little they show us sometimes. She absolutely HAD to know all the votes were going to Jerri. They were making it seem as though she thought she were getting the votes.

I still think the biggest bonehead move of all time was that long haired kid who gave the immunity idol to someone right before triabl council, and all the girls voted him right off.

That and James going home with two II's in his pocket.

But Sandra did tell Rupert and he told JT. When Pavarti stepped down that should have thrown up red flags all around. And Amanda needs to go next.

That's the whole point of the game. You don't HAVE to screw some people over. JT won it without doing so. No doubt, the majority of winners has had to screw somebody over, but I don't recall a winner that has screwed EVERYONE over. That's Russell's problem. He doesn't think ahead that all these jury members back at Ponderosa are talking, and it becomes clear to all of them, he screwed them all over.

I disagree. JT aligned with Coach and Tyson in that season once the merge formed, then blindsided Tyson. In this same season at final tribal he talked about how hard it was to write down Coach's name when he got voted off, but had no problems getting rid of Taj, someone who was in his alliance since prior to the merge. To say JT won it without screwing over anyone is false. He won because he had a good social game, and people thanked him for screwing them over.

Also, Coach is a hypocrite. He talks about honesty, but in the Tocantas season he lied a bunch of times.

Russell doesn't screw everyone over. He has his alliance, and if you aren't with him you are against him and he will get rid of you. If you are in his alliance he will keep you for as long as he can, but can only bring 1 person to the final 2, so something has to give eventually.

Something like 1/2 my heart is in Afghanistan (her hubby)

1/2 of my ♥ is in Afghanistan :(

OOohh, so sweet and so sad at the same time.

I have always assumed that a producer organizes the votes for Jeff to make it suspenseful.

I also assume that at some point Amanda told Parvati the Heroes total strategy for the tribal council vote. We were not shown that clip so we'd be shocked with Parvati's move, but I just don't buy that Parvati's so brilliant and confident that she would willingly give up immunity for herself to give to two other people who aren't even her closest allies. I mean, if you're going to play them both, you'd naturally assume the play would be protect a friend and play one for yourself just in case. I think Amanda blabbed the plan, but we just weren't shown that clip. How would Parvati not only know that she didn't need immunity for herself, but also know exactly the two people most likely to get votes?

JT doesn't really need to be mad at Russell or at the Villain girls at this point. He should be angry with Amanda. The plan was actually pretty good and could have worked very well if Parvati hadn't conveniently known to protect Sandra and Jerri.

ITA except that JT only needs to be mad at himself for being such a moron

Erik. That was hilarious, and coincidentally, Parvati was part of the all girl alliance that convinced him to give up the idol.

I don't think Parvati knew positively that Jerri was the Heroes target. If she did, she wouldn't have given an idol to Sandra.

Yeah, that's a good point.

Still won't help him. His social game to those outside of his alliance is nill, and that's what will be his downfall, just like last year.

You ain't lying. This should have been awake up notice to the Hero's, that there was no immunity idol played at the previous TC.

And watching Jerri's face as her name was being read and knowing that by dumb luck on her part and an amazingly bold move by Parv, her butt was saved.

Yeah, that's a good point.

Still won't help him. His social game to those outside of his alliance is nill, and that's what will be his downfall, just like last year.

I think so too, and it would be final 3 not too.

So far Coach, Courtney and JT would not be voting for him if he makes it to the final.

Parvati gave the idols to Sandra and Jerri because she didn't wanted a villain gone, she didn't know if the votes were for Sandra or for Jerri, if the heroes would had voted for her and she gave the idols, popcorn:: man!

Yeah, that's a good point.

That's possible, but it depends on who is there with him at the end. I would hope that the people on the jury would recognize what a good strategic game he played and reward him for it. Don't sit there an be a hypocrite crying that the guy lied when everybody who has ever played this game has lied at some time, with the exception of maybe Ethan.

This all assumes Russell can make it to the end, if Sandra does flip he still doesn't have the numbers he needs, but that hasn't stopped him before. It should be interesting. Out of the people left in the game, I would like to see Russell win it, with Parvati or Sandra as my 2nd and 3rd choices. Jerri hasn't really done anything, Danielle is just riding Parvati and Russell's coattails, Rupert should never win Survivor, Colby is a shadow of his former self, Candace hasn't really done much, and even Amanda hasn't been that impressive this season.

I can understand Courtney being against Russell, she wasn't part of his alliance but Coach and JT have no reason to be angry with him.

JT's downfall was his own stupid move. He gave Russell all he needed to vote him out. Giving up an idol is always a risky move but even more so when you give it to someone on the other tribe without knowing what's going on.

Coach is just going along with everyone else. IF Courtney and JT had come in saying that they were outplayed but Russell and kudos to him for being able to do that, Coach would have been singing his praises as well. Coach has always been and continues to be an idiot. He thinks he is a leader but he really is a follower.

I'm gonna put the same thing on here that put on my FB status this morning. SURVIVOR ROCKS!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lovestruc

Russ lied and betrayed JT and coach figure out that he was the mastermind behind voting Rob and Tyson, his friends, I think that's why, the edit a lot of stuff so we don't know much, but for a couple comments between them, you get an idea.

Yes, he played better than they did.

Anyone who still thinks Russell is one of the great Survivor players of all time isn't paying attention. As others have said, he alienates so many people that it is going to be very difficult for him to get votes from the jury. He would be gone already if Tyson hadn't been so stupid, and he would have been out anyway if Tyson had been tabbed by Rob to vote for someone other than Russell. He has been fooled by Sandra, who convinced him that Coach was out to get him, and now by Parvati. He was also lucky that JT misread the situation at the Villains camp and gave him the idol, and then he blew that.

Most importantly, though, he had a HUGE advantage on this show because he is the only one that the other players had never seen in action before. If they had seen the previous season before this one was taped, nobody would have trusted him for a second and he would be long gone.

Now that the Villains have the numbers on their side, I expect Russell and Parvati to both make the final 3, along with another Villain, possibly Sandra who seems extremely adept at avoiding votes while doing virtually nothing otherwise. But, unless something unusual happens, I don't see him getting the votes from the jury. Parvati's move last night was brilliant both to ensure that the Villains got the majority and to make herself look like the queen. And Russell set the stage for her to do it because of his own arrogance. Because his lies to the Heroes have been exposed, I don't think he'll be getting votes from them. In the end, Sandra could be the big beneficiary of the Parvati-Russell power struggle.

Did anyone notice when Danielle jumped down off the pole how bad her "plastic surgery" was??? I never noticed it before.

I was clutching my chest and totally grossed out!

Great episode!

So: Parvati did not believe Amanda about her, Parvati, being the target. Very gutsy move to give up BOTH hidden immunity idols!

Parvati cemented a new alliance with Jerri and Sandra. I bet that Rupert moves to form an alliance with her (or, rather, join her alliance) to get Russell out. Amanda certainly has no chance with Parvati and company, and Colby’s game seems to be ‘I’ll just stand here for a while’.

On another board the sentiment seems to be that Russell will be angry at Parvati ‘for a while’ at usurping his power, but will then ‘get over it’ as he will recognize that Parvati saved the Villain alliance, and that they will band together to get the remaining Heroes off. I disagree. I think we will see Russell try to form a new alliance with the remaining Heroes (especially Candice and Amanda) to oust Parvati. Trouble is, Russell stands exposed as a big, big liar to all the Heroes. But then again, what choice do they (remaining Heroes) have?

Russell’s past behavior has been: if I feel you are a threat to me, off you go. I doubt his Modus Operandi will change suddenly. Parvati will be his target, while Russell may well be Parvati’s target.

We do know, however, that Russell is a sort of ‘idiot savant’ at finding hidden immunity idols, so I would not be surprised if he pulls one out of his pocket next week.

I still think Russell is one of the best to ever play this game. Parvati wouldn't be in this game if Russell doesn't give her his idol, thus breaking up Rob's alliance.

As far as Russell having an advantage, I don't necessarily agree. The others didn't get to see him play, but they didn't know if they could trust him so he was in a danger of getting voted off early. Besides, even though we have seen someone play on t.v., we still don't know what happens 99% of the time. If you figure 3 days between each immunity challenge, that is 72 hours. Of those 72 hours we get to see less than an hour of footage, which is about 1% of the time these guys spend on the island. So Russell's advantage isn't as great as people seem to think it is.

If he does find one, I would hope for two things.
1. He doesn't tell anybody about it for once.
2. They don't show him finding it. I would like to be surprised that someone has an idol for a change.

I have never been a fan of hers but based on what Parvati did last night, I think that she deserves to win. She knew what the Heroes were going to do while the rest of the Villains were clueless.

Poor Russell: he has a real urge to tell people of his achievements. If he finds an idol he will tell the camera "I've got to keep this quiet", then he will proceed to tell Rupert, Danielle, Colby, maybe even Parvati herself. He does love to 'show off'.
