Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

Did anyone notice when Danielle jumped down off the pole how bad her "plastic surgery" was??? I never noticed it before.

I noticed that too.

Do they really look like that when not covered? I'd be asking for my money back, It was gross.

I noticed that this at this TC Jeff read the votes different, he read all Jerri's first, and then all JT's, usually the votes are all mix. :rolleyes1

You know, I've always wondered how the votes are read- does Jeff organize them while he is tallying the votes? I feel like every time he reads them it always perfectly comes down to the last vote and keeps us in suspense.

I know, most of the times the most obvious votes come out first, then all mixed up, not like today, he read all the heroes first and then the villains. How does he know how to read them? Why not mix them up this time. :rolleyes1

I have always assumed that a producer organizes the votes for Jeff to make it suspenseful.

I also assume that at some point Amanda told Parvati the Heroes total strategy for the tribal council vote. We were not shown that clip so we'd be shocked with Parvati's move, but I just don't buy that Parvati's so brilliant and confident that she would willingly give up immunity for herself to give to two other people who aren't even her closest allies. I mean, if you're going to play them both, you'd naturally assume the play would be protect a friend and play one for yourself just in case. I think Amanda blabbed the plan, but we just weren't shown that clip. How would Parvati not only know that she didn't need immunity for herself, but also know exactly the two people most likely to get votes?

JT doesn't really need to be mad at Russell or at the Villain girls at this point. He should be angry with Amanda. The plan was actually pretty good and could have worked very well if Parvati hadn't conveniently known to protect Sandra and Jerri.

Parvati didn't believe they were going to vote for her after talking to Amanda. She also knew they weren't going to vote for Russell. Danielle had immunity, so she use her two idols for the remaining two players on her tribe, Jerri and Sandra. If she knew they were targeting Jerri, she wouldn't have given her idol to Sandra. By giving both of them idols, she guaranteed that a villian wouldn't be going home.
Next week should be interesting. Parvati crossed Russell, and he usually doesn't react well to stuff like that, which is one of his big short comings in this game. I'm not sure I believe what they showed on the preview since they usually show something to make you think one thing, but it isn't always as it seems. Then again, they showed the other week that JT might give an idol to Russell, and it actually happened.

My wife and I call these "personal floatation devices" and none of them ever look very good as the women lose weight.

Russ is going to get angry at Parvarti but she will win him back Im sure, she is such a flirt and knows how to manipulate men. :flower3:

:rotfl::rotfl: she looks weird, I was watching her in one of the secret video, Parvarti looks pretty and she doesn't need big ones, the camera man was all over her when she was standing on the pole during the challenge. She also said (parv) that Jerri and Danielle were all over Colby.

Glad JT got voted off. Idiot.

As for Parvati, if she makes it to the end, unless it's against Russell, she has no chance. She'll never get the votes.

Russell's game is absolutely genious in terms of getting to the final 2. The problem is, once he reaches the final 2, that plan is garbage, because every single person on the jury will know that he lied and manipulated them all along.

Watch this video from Ponderosa, and it's clear - Russell has more than likely already lost the first 3 votes, IF he makes it to the final 2:

You gotta play the game for 39 days. Playing it for 38 isn't gonna cut it.

As of right now, maybe he'll get Coach's vote, and that's only if JT and Courtney don't tell Coach what Russell has been doing.

I never understand that logic. Did he lie, Yup. Did he manipulate people, Yup. That is what you are supposed to do. Outwit, Outlast, Outplay is the motto of Survivor, so if a guy makes you think he is doing something, then does something else, he outwitted you. I always hate it when people lie, cheat, and steal their way through the game, then when facing the jury make all kinds of lame excuses. Just tell people that in order to get to the end they had to screw some people over.

I think that's part of what makes Survivor so much fun to watch. Its partly a social game and its what messes Russell up in the end. I enjoy watching the jury members get their "revenge." Even if they're being hypocrites :goodvibes.

I agree, Russell does need some kind of social game. Jury members typically are hypocrites. I think they are just mad that their plans to screw people over didn't work, so they take it out on people who did succeed at it. I think some people take what happens in the game way to personally. Most of the time, it isn't personal, it's just what someone had to do to get ahead. Having said that, I know it isn't easy for everyone to separate what happens in a game from real life.

Im glad JT went home. At least he knows that Rupert wasn't the "idiot" he thought him to be. IT's almost painful for me to watch.

That's the whole point of the game. You don't HAVE to screw some people over. JT won it without doing so. No doubt, the majority of winners has had to screw somebody over, but I don't recall a winner that has screwed EVERYONE over. That's Russell's problem. He doesn't think ahead that all these jury members back at Ponderosa are talking, and it becomes clear to all of them, he screwed them all over.

If he gets to the final 2, Russell won't make any excuses for what he did. But it won't change the fact that he won't get the votes. Did he get 1 vote last year? I can't remember.

I think Rupert is still an idiot, he just happened to be right about Russell, but only after Sandra told him. Before that he was as gullible as JT was when it came to Russell.

The producers are watching the votes and comments. They then work with Jeff to arrange the order. The first votes we see are the ones that were shown to us in the voting booth, then they are arranged to maximum the drama.

That move by Parvati had to be one of the best moves of all time and it confirmed JT places as the biggest bonehead move of all time.
