Surveys for $$

Is anyone familiar with survey scout or paid online surveys where you get paid or collect points,prizes for payment after you complete surveys or focus groups. Anyone have experiences to share?? Thanks!

I have been a member of www.us.lightspeedpanel.com for several years. I collect points which are redeemable for merchandise, gift certificates or cash. They do appear reliable and I have not detected any SPAM which is attributable to them.

I'm not familiar with survey scout, but I've been doing surveys and test products for some other companies for a little over a year now. Most don't pay too well (or at all). I probably average $20-30 a month.

However, occasionally they offer online or in person focus groups which can pay any where from $20-100 depending on length and subject matter. These come along every 2 or 3 months.

Overall, I really enjoy doing it. It's not a lot of money, but as a SAHM, every little bit helps!

Thanks! Survey Scout is a database which has a lot of survey sites that you can sign up to do surveys with. I think the general idea is the more you sign up with the more $ you can make per month...just wondered if anyone has used them.

I used survey scout, and it was a waste of my time & money. The DIS rewards program board is a much better resource -at the top is a thread for "rewards programs how tos" and also for survey sites in general that people have found to be good. Read thru the various threads there -it is a wealth of info, and will save you $$ and time. I do Mypoints and Pine Cone, and a few others, but these are the 2 I do the most.

Please dont waste your money on survey scout.There are plenty of ways to find survry sites without having to pay to find them.

I do www.surveyspot.com, lightspeed panel, www.mysurvey.com and my DD does www.kidzeyes.com. SOme surveys pay a little some pay a lot. It depends if you fall into the category they are looking for at that time. My 9 yo DD was chosen for a survey and it paid out a total of $70. On kidzeyes..she just signed up and you gets points. every 1000 pts she can redeem for $10. In leass then 3 weeks she's up to 2000 pts. We save for her and other DD's college etc. Whatever money she earns 1/2 goes to saving and the other half either goes towards Disney or a toy, book, game or other item she wants. If I get $$ from a survey, we usually use it towards a dinner out or throw it into the "extra" Disney pot.

I've completed on-line surveys for zoomerang.com for points that can buy a variety of smaller products. Not great but ok.
