OMG yes, we've had many nice things happen at Disney, one of the reasons I love going down there so much. More things than I will recount here but here's a few:
My DD (8) can make friends with a rock, she's a very outgoing girl. She struck up a conversation with a girl on a bus from DTD to BWI, then we all got to talking, her family and ours, and the Mom pulled a new bag of candy out of one of her shopping bags and handed it out to my kids (after asking my permission).
When standing in line to board the tram after the evening fireworks at MK(and we all know how long those lines get) DD and I got split up from DS and DH, they ended up at the front of the line but we got on the tram. I called over to DH that we'd meet them at the car when a couple got off the tram and gave DH and DS their seats saying a family shouldn't be split up. I felt kinda bad but they insisted. Isn't that amazing?
I've been meaning to post about this but we had a very magical afternoon at the ASMusic pool just a couple of weeks ago. DD had begged to go swimming even though I thought it was too cold and we were going to the Christmas Party later that evening. Again she makes a buddy out of another little girl and then a CM recruited them to play a music trivia game, along with a couple of other groups. One of these groups were 3 young adults, like early 20's I would guess. I was sitting on a chaise a bit away as they started the game when a woman came up and asked me if I'd like a pizza. Uh, ok, sure. There were cheerleading groups there that weekend and she was dressed like she belonged with one of them. She said they'd just had a pizza party and had about 10 pizzas left, disappeared for a moment and then came back with a large pepperoni pizza. If you are a DIS'er - thanks again! I watched several people walk by the pool with pizzas after that
Then the sweetest thing happened, a few more groups formed to play the game and I went over to help the two little girls, then the other girl's Mom showed too. Our group and the 3 young adults ended up in a tie at the end and had to do a tie breaker. Well, they won and I bent down to my DD whispering "be a good sport and congratulate them". She went toward them to do that when one of the guys presented her with the prize, the Magic Kingdom game, and said "we were just playing for fun" and gave it to her. Wasn't expecting that and I thought it was so sweet. Then my DD and the other girl are trying to figure out how to split that game and I whispered into DD's ear to let the other child have it, we could get one another time. She did and they hugged each other like lifelong friends

Other Mom invited us to come over to play it the next day (I'd mentioned we had to run now to get ready for the party) but we were leaving the next day. Good thing we had that pizza because we had to scurry to get to the party so all in all, a wonderful experience. So if the others we played with that day are DIS'ers too
Seriously, we have good stuff like that happen all the time. You are just more likely to hear the complaints I guess.
