We are 48 days away!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!!!! Anyhow we were going to just wake kids up and head to airport at 4am but now have decided to stay at a hotel room the night before. We are thinking of telling kids in a puzzle. Has anyone ever bought/ made one? My kids are 7 and 9... ?
If that helps with suggestions. Th

We're *kind of* using a puzzle! It will be part of our scavenger hunt. With each clue our DD will receive a puzzle piece. After she has them all she will put it together and the final clue will be revealed on the back (it's one of those that has a cardboard back to put the pieces in). I think the puzzle aspect is just going to add more fun to it!

I like surprising them in the morning idea.

Would they figure out that they're going to Disney just by seeing the luggage or that they're sleeping in a hotel room -- they'll obviously know that they're going somewhere but not Disney World?

If not, don't tell them until the morning -- why change your original plan?

Thanks. No we will tell them the day before now....because I think it will work better. Otherwise it would be 3 am and not sure the reaction if we left that am. The day before my daughter has her dance recital. We usually take them out to dinner after and this time we will give them either a puzzle or something to surprise them, not sure what yet..this will give them a chance to pack a stuffed animal quick then head right to Philly. My son has major attachment issues so I think letting him pack a few things will help him.
