Surprises For My BFF That Wont Break The Budget

My best friend has convinced me to fly down for a weekend in Disney to celebrate his birthday! We wont be doing any sit down meals so I cant have them surprise him with cupcakes or anything, but I would like to do a couple things to surprise him. I dont have much money to allot for this being as how I am already paying for last minute flights etc. Can you guys give me any ideas? : Im at a loss right now! Thanks in advance!

When we celebrated my children's birthdays I ordered cookie cakes from Mrs Fields and had them shipped to the hotel. We were able to have a little birthday celebration in the hotel room (I had brought plates and napkins from the dollar store at home). The cakes can be pricey but often times you can find a coupon code which makes it more doable. I also ordered a gift basket to be in our room upon check in (I created what I wanted in them so I was able to control the cost). If you are staying at the resort though, you may be able to tell them about the bday and they may leave a few trinkets. On my children's actual bday we returned to the hotel to find balloons and postcards from Mickey!
