Surprised the kids, wife, and my readers w/ a 2 week trip to AoA!(*NEW* 11-7)

Nice little update, but it is obvious that Parker still wasn't quite back to normal. :sad2: And I can't believe as much of a little flirt as Noelle has been at the pool you let her out showing so much skin!!! Thought you were going to keep an eye on her Dad!!! :rotfl:

So cute packing her dollcase............and what a sweet angel sleeping beside Mom! :goodvibes I guess Candi just has the touch! :thumbsup2

I've watched that loop over and over again as well. I probably shouldn't be proud of that.
I think we could all start an intervention group over that one......... :guilty:

Love that picture of Parker chasing Noelle with the phone. She's got a little devilish streak in her, doesn't she? I wonder where she gets it.
Yea, I wonder too. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Must be from Candi................Dan still has his!!! :rolleyes1

Sorry again for the absence between updates, but it is the summer season and that means camping trips...we were away again camping in michigan. But we are back now for 3 weeks straight so hope to turn out about 2 updates a week as time allows.

Chapter 64. A New Day

The night went pretty good, noelle was knocked out all night long, parker slept pretty good but when he is not feeling well candi doesnt sleep good...so whenever he would move she would go check on him, finally she just ended up sleeping across the end of his bed and said she slept better that way so she could be closer to him if he woke up.

she did sneak his pillow pet away from him and used it as a pillow...even when she had the ones from our bed 3 feet away:confused3

anyhow, we all woke up at 7:50, parker said he was thirst and downed about half of an OJ bottle, before i could stop him, he threw up a little since he drank it so fast.

when we went to breakfast it took a while to convience him that he needed a little food in him so he had energy for the day, finally that was accomplished and he ended up eating crackers, a little milk, and about 1/4 of a pancake.

i might have also bribed him with a new cars vinylmation from the gift shop as a incentive.::yes:: im not above it when it comes to getting the kids feeling better on vacation.:thumbsup2

we then headed back to the room and were ready for another day.

we were all ready and out the door at the bright and early hour of.

but where were we headed?

yep parker wanted to go back to blizzard beach, he liked it alot more than typhoon lagoon so thats where we went.

we were at BB by 11:00 so it was a nice short bus trip the driver dropped us off before he kept on to AK..which was really nice.

and this day we decided that taking the stroller was the best choice and then we would not rent a locker just keep our stuff with the stroller in the kiddy area

we found a good shaded spot in the kiddy area to keep the stroller candi and parker ended up going on the family tube slide, noelle and i played daddy sits on in the shallow water she runs at me and knocks me down....it kept her entertained for about 30 minutes while candi and parker were away...and she was happy so it was a win win for all.

parker and i went down the family tube slide when they got back, and then went to play a little in the middle kid size area of the iceburgs.

after that we opted for lunch.

right by our seats was a stand that served hot dogs, it sounded good to all of us, so that is what we went with.

nice thing about this stand was it didnt have kids meals, just adult which meant parker was able to get a regular big size meal for the kid credit.

so he had a hot dog meal, complete with fruit cup and chips,
candi had a pretzel dog meal.
i had the mac and cheese hot dog which was really good, noelle ate some of everyones meals and was happy we were all stuffed and even ended up saving 2 bags of the donald chips to take with us.

we then played in the kiddie area again for a little bit before we left.

so it wasnt a crazy water park day but it was a fun morning/afternoon there.

on the way out i decided to get a picture so i would have at least one in the water park that day.

with that we left the water park.

since it was still early and we had passes to use up we decided to use up another water park and fun pass

it was time to hit the mini golf

hours of operation for those wondering and yes if you are waiting to go into blizzard beach and have to pee, you can use there restrooms that open before blizzard beach does.

this was our first time playing golf here so we wanted to make sure we took it all in.

these are the signs as you walk into the area.

we all really liked the hut that you have to go into the get signed up to play and get your balls and clubs.

and parker thought it was really funny to see Santas sleigh pulling the camper.

i was a fan of the name. elfstream

and he found the pressed penny machine that we did when we were done golfing.

but it was time to hit the links and tee off.

noelle was knocked out in the stroller beFOUR we even hit the first hole..which made us happy we brought the stroller along so we didnt have to carry her around the course.

next time we explore some of the golf holes.

I have never been to Blizzard Beach. Do you prefer that or Typhoon Lagoon with the kids?

Our kids love Winter Summerland, can't wait to see which side you play!

I had the exact same day you did on my trip. Blizzard Beach followed by mini-golf. And I also got the mac & cheese hot dog. Weird.

Glad to read he made it through lunch ok, water park and mini golf! Poor Candi, I know that can be when one of the kids are sick especially all in the same room, it makes for no rest at all.

We've never done the mini golf, maybe someday!

Glad Parker was slowly coming around with feeling better minus the orange juice

A nice calm day at blizzard beach and mini golf sounded perfect

:goodvibes

Blizzard Beach mini golf course is a lot of fun. Did you do just one course or both?

Glad to see Parker feeling a bit better.

Sounds like a fun afternoon at BB. I haven't been there in years, but its on my list for October. It's got a great theme.

I have never tried the mini golf but it looks like a lot of fun.

Glad Parker was feeling better.

Hi there! :wave2: I've been reading your report over the last few days, it's been fun to read and I'm really enjoying your photos! I love that you took a photo of the clock the morning you were off like a herd of turtles, lol.

Glad to read your son bounced back, hope he stayed well for the rest of the trip! Looking forward to more popcorn::

Glad to see that Parker was doing better. I love Summer Winterland. It is much better than the other course near the Swan/Dolphin.

You guys have been camping fools this summer! Hope it's been fun.

anyhow, we all woke up at 7:50, parker said he was thirst and downed about half of an OJ bottle, before i could stop him, he threw up a little since he drank it so fast.

:scared:

i might have also bribed him with a new cars vinylmation from the gift shop as a incentive.::yes:: im not above it when it comes to getting the kids feeling better on vacation.:thumbsup2

Bribery is an acceptable parenting technique.:thumbsup2

so he had a hot dog meal, complete with fruit cup and chips,
candi had a pretzel dog meal.
i had the mac and cheese hot dog which was really good, noelle ate some of everyones meals and was happy we were all stuffed and even ended up saving 2 bags of the donald chips to take with us.

And everyone kept it down, I hope!

it was time to hit the mini golf

:thumbsup2 Underrated fun at Walt Disney World.

What a peaceful morning. Sounds like a good way to get back into the Disney groove.

I feel so bad for Candi! She should win mother of the year. There is NOTHING worse than your child being sick. I am glad everyone else got some sleep though.

I can't wait to hear about mini golf. I have never done the courses at Disney. How did Noelle like it?

I'm so glad that Parker ws feeling better and he ate some food; hate when the kids are sick on vacation.

We prefer Typhoon Lagoon ourselves, but we don't do the big slides anymore (too many stairs to climb; just give us a lazy river and we are happy old people :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

Love playing mini-golf at Disney (haven't done it since 2008 and want to try to fit it in this trip or in December when Mary and the girls join us). The themeing at Winter Wonderland is outstanding.

:welcome: thanks for reading along, (i think this is your first post)?

we prefere blizzard beach the play area in TL is fun, but our kids like the blizzard beach one better, we ended going to BB 3 times and TL only once.

my son also really loved the family tube slide there alot.

I had the exact same day you did on my trip. Blizzard Beach followed by mini-golf. And I also got the mac & cheese hot dog. Weird.
great minds think alike.:thumbsup2 it was a good hotdog thats for sure

what side of the course did you guys play?

you are right she actually sleeps better in there roomif they are sick instead of ours, in ours she will be up all night worrying about them, where in there room she sleeps till they make a noise.

Glad Parker was slowly coming around with feeling better minus the orange juice

:goodvibes
