SURPRISE!.......You forgot the WHAT!? A November 1st-11th 2012 TR* BIG UPDATE!!2/3

Onto our first real park day! November 4th 2012
Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Park hours 9am -7pm.

We’d had a good night’s rest, and were up early with plenty of time to get ready. The food court opened for serving at 7am, so we headed out.

Zazu and Kadence, Now see here!

Kadence and I had the French toast, it was fine. The sausage on my plate was a chicken sausage, and was decent.

John was stuck in line FOR-EVER! He had wanted the regular platter; eggs, potatoes, bacon, biscuit, etc… but station didn’t seem to be ready and there was a long line with him stuck right in the middle. The food court filled really fast and was crowded, so he chose to stay in line.

We sat and ate and waited, and waited, and waiiiittttttteeeeeddddddd! Good thing we had time!

Finally, John got his food and ate. Kadence and I were done, so we did a little wandering through the gift shop. Once he was done we headed over to the bus stop and the bus was there for DHS.

DHS is close to AoA, so it only took a few minutes. What a pretty first view!

Our plan of attack remains to the same for DHS. Walk quickly to Toy Story Mania, ride, and get FP for later.

We made it!

We were at the front of the pack, so TSM looked pretty empty.

We stopped and got FP’s for later and decided to wander back to one of John’s favorite rides, The Great Movie Ride. Kadence wanted to check out her hands against Minnies.

While waiting in line, I noticed a red and white striped shirt in front of us. It was worn by a young man with dark hair, thick rimmed glasses, and yes, a red and white striped hat.
Waldo!

Finally found him!! LOL, I kept trying to take a picture of him, but the line never stopped. So blurry is better than nothing!

Once in our seats, and Waldo in front of us, I caught the look or rapt attention from my two travel partners.

Soon it was time to see who we got, Cowboy or Gangster.
This is a stick up!

He hi-jacked our vehicle, and on we went.

Once we had our glimpse into the wonderful world of movies, Kadence wanted to see if Wreck-it Ralph was out for M&G’s yet. The time on the map said 10:30 and it was about 30 mins away but I thought we’d maybe start the line, so over to the animation building we went.

The line had about 20 families already in it! We lined up, and just took in the surroundings, and chatted a bit with those around us. Soon Vanellope came out, but no Ralph. One group close to the front wasn’t too happy with that and tried to get people to go before them but no one took them up on that.
About 10 mins later Ralph came, but just before it was our turn the CM said that the characters would be going on a break in a few minutes and that Ralph wouldn’t be back right away. Kadence was looking unhappy, and I told her we’d come back later if you missed him. Well, we got very lucky as WE were the last ones to see them before the break! They were very interactive, and Kadence was happy one again.

Hi Lisa! Thanks, I need to get back here. It's improving my mood.

I wish food courts would serve earlier! 6 would be a better time for me. 7 doesn't cut it when you want to make a 8am ropedrop.

Kadence loves her shirt, we found it for $1 at Wal-mart!

I posted that picture on Facebook and I had some people question as to why someone would dress like that. Attention people! Plus I bet he had a fun day.

Following along. I missed a couple updates so I had a few days to get caught up on. After seeing the Phineas & Ferb Experience, I'm kind of glad that we didn't make it a priority to get over there. I had it in my plans, but it just didn't work out. It looks cute, but like Kadence, I think my kids would have stood there and just watched the screen. I thought it was going to be more like Turtle Talk where the child interacts. Oh well.

Kadence is a friend collector. She thinks she needs more and more!

I think Kadence and I would get on very well. I'm running out of space on my bed

I'm pretty set on getting her the books for Christmas. Just trying to decide if I should get them on the Kindle or get the books themselves.

I always prefer having the actual book

Great end of the day at DTD, that Phineas and Ferb thing looked neat. I love all the Lego Structures.

Love the pics of Kadence taking pics in the line at TSM, there are so many neat things in that line.

Cool that you got the Cowboy scene on the GMR, the last couple times I have done that ride, it was the gangster scene,I would like to do the cowboy one again someday. I love the GMR, it does need an update but I don't think they need to make major changes or take it out like some people say. Love the Wizard of Oz scenes!

Hi Carla! I'm glad we did it, but I totally agree with you. Kadence did just stand there, and it was over very quickly. I am glad it dragged us down there though, it gave us the chance to eat at Bongos which I will foe do again!

Kadence would for sure enjoy meeting you, and I'm sure your accent would be very intriguing to her! I love that shirt too, I'm sad it's getting small on her!

We actually had discussed going to see it in DTD before the meet, but didn't. Now that we have seen it, she's still thrilled she saw them.

Thank The Legos are so cool! I just can't imagine puttig all that together!

TSM had a great queue, Soarin could learn a thing or two from the TMS queue.

We've gotten both versions now, and I think the gangster is fun. They really could start adding newer movie scenes!

I had such a rush going this morning, Jen was awesome with helping me. I can't thank her enough!

Please forgive the loonnnggggg spaces between updates. I’ve just been so busy, I have a month before school lets out when I can focus more time on this and then I promise to be a huge updating machine!

After meeting Ralph and Vanellope, we headed out to the streets.

Soon the doors opened and in we went.

Now these guys are full of laughs!

After a lovely bunch of singing and dancing we were in need of refreshment. As we wandered over to the Backlot Express, we noticed a crowd gathered around the Jedi Training area. I snagged a table with a great view of the training and we watched it.

All the kids seemed to be having a great time, and once Darth Vader came out the whole crowd was full of ohhhs, and ahhhs. I had to get up to get closer to get some better shots.

Just a little note, since then Kadence has watched the 3 original Star Wars and is now wanting very much to participate in November. So, anyone have any experiences with your kids you could share? She’s so excited to see Darth Vader! Daddy has promised her a Light Saber, but I think he wants to play with it too.
