All caught up! I have been following along on your December PTR....how exciting you get to squeeze a weekend trip in before that!!

I love your plans, looks like you are going to have a great time!
Hi, Deedee! Thanks for following and joining in!
I love seeing all of your plans!
Your spreadsheets are fantastic! I love that they combine a detailed breakdown of the day with conserving space.
Thanks! I geek out over them pretty hard! I already have the workbook built for my December trip, and once the park hours come out in May, I'll get to work setting up those eight days worth!
So awesome that you now have a full day at MK! I hope lunch at BOG is amazing ... I've also only done dinner, but I really love the castle, it's amazing! YAY for getting a FP+ for 7DMT - so amazing that you got the last one!
Yes! both of these finds were completely MAGICAL, and I wasn't expecting to nab either one! It all just fell into place... like magic.
I hope the weather works out for FoF ... I know you were upset that it got rained out in September, so I'm really glad you're (hopefully) getting a chance to see it soon!
Maaaaaan, I'm telling you, if it gets rained out again, I'm just going to accept I'm not meant to see it and will suck it up and watch it on
YouTube instead.
We had some great short waits during the first MSEP in February! Plus, once the first MSEP & Wishes are over, at least 50% of the guests leave (NOTE: This is not an actual percentage, just my guess), so the lines get much shorter!
This is encouraging! And I completely support your totally made-up statistic of 50%! I can get down with that!
And if you're having trouble staying up ... Starbucks/Main Street Bakery is open until closing!
This will happen, I'm sure. I suspect that somewhere around the time MSEP ends, I'll likely start hunting down coffee coffee coffee to get me though a couple more hours!
Totally with you on your AK must-dos ... I skipped Kiliminjaro Safaris once, and it was bad news. It really is so awesome! I hope you have a great safari with lots of animals coming out to say hi! The new FOTLK theater is nice ... although it doesn't really seem that different than the old one to me
I can't go to AK and NOT hit Kilimanjaro first thing. It would be blasphemy!

And I'm excited to check out FotLK's new digs, just because YAY NEW STUFF!
Epcot plans look great too! Make sure you take some time to "wander" around and look at the topiaries - they have some really amazing ones! Illuminations ... such an amazing show!
I will be sure to appreciate the topiaries while stuffing my face.

I promise! I really enjoy just wandering aimlessly through World Showcase, so I think it will be fun to see them.
Downtown Disney would be a great end to the day ... but you might be a little worn out after such a long trip, so you may just want to call it quits after Epcot.
More than likely I will be ready to just go back to the room after Epcot, honestly. But with it being such a short trip, I feel like I need to milk EVERY POSSIBLE MOMENT of fun out of it. So I'm going to try real hard to make it to DTD for a little while. Which just means... time for more coffee coffee coffee!!!

Ohana should be an awesome departure day breakfast!
I think so, too! Good times and a full belly and a smile on my face... That's how I want to end my weekend.
Sounds like you've got a great trip planned! It really will be the best Disney Weekend Ever!
I sure hope so!!!
Both my TA friend and my husband have "forbidden" me from making daily spreadsheets like this - and I SOOOOO want to, but they don't think Little Monster will be able to stick to any type of schedule, so we might both end up miserable if we try. LOL. I love seeing the daily breakdown.
Honestly, I think it all depends on how you approach them. If you made daily spreadsheets and you think that they might make you feel like OMG WE HAVE TO STICK TO THE SCHEDULE...

Yeah, probably not good even for a solo adult, much less a family with a toddler.
However, that being said, if you can be more relaxed towards them, they might be very helpful. I view mine just as a guide for the day, not a hard and fast commitment. If I want to skip something that I've put on my day's itinerary, I do. No big whoop. If I want to change it up completely, no worries. But it's nice to have it all out there in black and white for me throughout the day as a reference, and to help me to hopefully accomplish all my goals for that day without feeling overwhelmed or rushed.
Your plans look so awesome!!! It will be a very busy trip, but soooo worth it! I really like the idea of a nice sit down breakfast before you have to leave the Disney bubble, great way to end the vacation.
It WILL be a very busy trip, I'm going to come back home and be completely pooped!

But at least my belly will be full! And it's true, I've found that waking up and just getting in there car and trying home is just TOO heartbreaking. It's much easier when I can go and get one last dose of magic to kind of eeeeeease my way out of the Disney bubble.
Your plans look fantastic! We really liked BOG for lunch, I think you will too. I'm still completely jealous that you are able to drive to DW in 5 hours. I like car trips so much more than getting on a plane but we aren't close enough to anything to justify 18 or more hours in the car vs a 2-3 hour plane ride

.
It's SO funny how "the grass is always greener," as they say. Believe it or not, I'm a little jealous of the people who can fly down! I mean sure, being able to drive down saves me a ton of money, and I LOVE that part. But especially since I enjoy traveling solo, it would be SO NICE to just go to the airport, get on a plane, have it whisk me away to MCO, and then hop on a Magical Express bus to my resort. I could read a book during the flight, maybe even nap! I think it sounds wonderful.

However, from my closest airport, Savannah, there's no non-stop flights to MCO. So essentially I would have to fly from Savannah up to either Atlanta or Charlotte, then catch another flight down to Orlando. Once you account for two flights + a layover, it's actually FASTER to just drive the 5 hours. So until an airline starts offering direct flights from SAV to MCO, and at a reasonable price... it'll always be road trips for this girl!
We had dinner at the POFQ food court and were very happy with the food, the fried chicken is yummy! DH actually liked the food court there better than at AoA. Hope to stay there next time. I wish. I wish I wish
I had lunch there 10 years ago or so, but I remember really enjoying it. We were staying at All-Star Music on that trip, and both my friend and I commented on how much better POFQ's food court seemed. I remember I got the Muffaletta sandwich, and it was AMAZEBALLS. I'm a little sad that I don't have any time in my trip to do a lunch or dinner there, but at least I'll get to check it out for breakfast.
Wow, that looks so exciting Billie! I can already hear the Celebrate The Magic song, and hope that you enjoy the viewing area. I've eaten at BOG twice for lunch and loved it both times, and you will absolutely love the Festival of Fantasy parade too. So happy for you!
Yeah, I'm so stoked I got that lunch ADR! I really was expecting it to tell me "No Times Available." I was shocked by how many times there were for me choose from!

I really enjoyed dinner there on the last trip, so I'm excited to see the differences at lunch!
You managed to get everything in!!! Great job!! I am so surprised how many people were in your AK photo! geesh!
Ugh, that crowd at AK that day probably also contributed to why I cut my time there short. I was tired and not feeling so hot, and it was rainy, and people kept climbing in front of my
ECV and blocking my view of the tigers, and I think I was just grumpy and fed up.

So I sacrificed Kali and FotLK that day in favor of a much-needed nap. I also think all those construction walls were perhaps squeezing people into already narrow walkways, and making the crowds feel just that much denser. At least the walls in the photo, around the Tree of Life, should be down now, right? I hope?
