Surprise Solo Weekend Adventure Time!: An April 2015 PTR - COMPLETED 4/27!

I think those are EXCELLENT changes, Billie! :thumbsup2 I think it's really important to get there as early as possible on Friday so you can get all the rest you possibly can in prep for your crazy weekend! ::yes:: What a fabulous idea!!! And I hear ya on the QS dining plan... I went with it, too! :thumbsup2 It just makes it all so much easier, too, and that counts for something as well, right?!

Oh heck I don't blame you at ALL for starting to pack. 2 weeks out? Um, yep! I'd be doing it, too!!! :woohoo:

Also, this is my favorite Disney World commercial ever!!!

Thanks! I felt pretty brilliant as I was implementing them.

That is sage advice from the Queen Commando herself! I shall heed it!

I loooove the ease of the dining plans! (Admittedly, I like any excuse to scan my MagicBand, too. )

Oh heck I don't blame you at ALL for starting to pack. 2 weeks out? Um, yep! I'd be doing it, too!!! :woohoo:
I'll be stalking your PTR and holding you to that, lady!

You're so close!!!

Are you going to do a dining review again? (or do I have to beg?)
No begging needed, girl! I will definitely be doing a Trip Report and a Dining Report. Granted, they'll both be short, but I'll do what I can with them! :cutie:

Also, this is my favorite Disney World commercial ever!!!
Me too!!! I think of it EVERYTIME that I am laying in bed, not sleeping, because I'm thinking about Disney World (so, in other words, pretty much every night). :P

YAY!!! for taking Friday off! That way you can rest up and won't have to drive at night.

I think it's a great idea you went with the QS Dining Plan especially since you will be checking out F&W Yummies!

It's making me feel much better knowing there are others that start their packing early too! :)

Exaaaaactly. I would leave a little earlier in the day, but my Mama is taking me to pick up my rental car. She, like me, is NOT a morning person, and gets pretty crabby if she has to get dressed and leave her house before 1pm. :rotfl: And we live across town from each other, so she really is going out of her way. I'm trying to work around her schedule, since she's doing me a favor by running me back and forth to get the car.

I can't waaaaait! I need to sit down and compile my final pick list for ya'll! I keep changing my mind!

It's making me feel much better knowing there are others that start their packing early too! :)
I almost always start packing early. For my last trip, I didn't, I waited until the night before. Even though I had made a list and used it as a guide, it still felt very stressful and rushed. Nope, never again! I'm a pre-packer at heart! :cutie:

14 days until WDW! :hyper:
**************************************************

Hey, ya'll! :grouphug:

One tiny update... and I have to be vague-ish. Today I received confirmation that when I arrive at Magic Kingdom, there most definitely will be at least one, possibly two, adult 1-Day Park Hopper tickets waiting for me at Will Call with my name on them. Complimentary.

Meaning that I do NOT have to buy that 1-Day ticket I was planning on buying when I made the decision to add another park day to the trip (I was holding off, waiting to see if this would come through or not), and I may not even have to touch my 5-Day No-Expiration ticket for Day 2 either. :faint:

As for how this is happening. ALL I am allowed to say is... I love my job. :lovestruc (Sorry if this update seems too braggy, but I'm excited, dangit! :hyper: )

Also, you guys should know, I'm sick. Very sick. Because I just sat down tonight and planned out the one small trip in I'm taking in 2016 (October 23-27). And thought about starting a PTR for it. While it's still 18 months away, and I have two other PTRs happening. I need help. :rotfl2:

So anyhow!

2 WEEKS from today, I'll be on my way!! Wooooo! :woohoo:

I think this is just absolute proof that this trip is meant to be! :thumbsup2

Great luck with the tickets!

And whatever you have must be catching because I have PTRs started for my family trip in May 2016 and my solo trip in August 2017...only in Google Docs for now. But as soon as I finish my current TR you better believe I'm letting my planning devil loose!!

Awesome!! So happy for you!! What sickness is this you speak of? I don't view this as a sickness and it has nothing to do with the fact I have started my PTR for our trip March/April 2016 in Word Docs!:rolleyes1

Ohmygosh :yay: that's amazing about the tickets! So happy for you!

K you had me worried for a sec when you said you were sick. I was like " ain't nobody got time fo dat!" But then I kept reading :joker: Two PTR !!!! So awesome I love it!

This is great news. I know that you will want to have enough tickets for your December trip, so it is great that now you don't have to touch those other tickets. :)

When we were at F&W last fall and I saw that you could use a snack credit for the steak at the Canada booth, I wished I was on the dining plan. That is one place that those snack credits make it worth it. And you will save a lot of money at BOG using the dining plan credit. I think that is the most expensive CS lunch at WDW. I can see the QS dining plan working perfectly for this trip. :woohoo:

Wow... this just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it!?!?!? :woohoo: I'm so excited for you!!! :goodvibes

And... if what you have is a sickness, I suggest not finding a cure! That said, I'll be looking for that new PTR soon ;)

Hi there, I've just found your PTR...I really enjoyed reading about your original trip...and then no trip...and then new trip!! So excited for you!! I love all your ideas and your plans sound amazing!! I have never got a dining plan so I look forward to hearing more about how that works out for you. Also I want all those foods and drinks right now! I have always wanted to go to any of the food festivals...sigh...

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! Do you have something in the works, lady? Spill!!!

Like I said, check back in 3 weeks. There are two possible trips on the horizon, but I won't know anything until late April/early May.

This sounds like a wonderful job perk ...

Not sure what the problem is here ...

2 WEEKS from today, I'll be on my way!! Wooooo! :woohoo:

Yay!!! So awesome!!!! :cheer2:

Just found your report and caught up! Your plans look great and I'm slightly jealous of how organized they are. Can't wait to jump over to your December trip report too! I think it's great you have such an understanding boss/co worker it makes going to work more enjoyable, it's still work but not as bad!

So much Disney fun!!

I could not agree with you more! :goodvibes

Hahaha. It's a very serious disease. :rotfl:

This is great news. I know that you will want to have enough tickets for your December trip, so it is great that now you don't have to touch those other tickets. :)
I hope! One 1-day ticket has been 110% confirmed to be for me at Will Call. Possibly two. I'll find out when I get there! :bitelip:

I have never got a dining plan so I look forward to hearing more about how that works out for you. Also I want all those foods and drinks right now! I have always wanted to go to any of the food festivals...sigh...
You should plan for the fall to hit Food & Wine sometime, it's AMAZING!!! :thumbsup2

Like I said, check back in 3 weeks. There are two possible trips on the horizon, but I won't know anything until late April/early May.
OMG OMG OMG. I've got two sets of fingers crossed for you, lady! Can't wait to hear how it all works out! :bitelip:

Yay! Free is always better!
You got that right, sister.

This sounds like a wonderful job perk ...
It really really really is. I was pretty shocked that it happened!

Not sure what the problem is here ...
You're right, no problem at all... :rolleyes1

Yay!!! So awesome!!!! :cheer2:

I've done this a few times. :rotfl:

I think it's great you have such an understanding boss/co worker it makes going to work more enjoyable, it's still work but not as bad!

10 days until WDW! :hyper:
**************************************************

Hey, ya'll! :grouphug:

So... Packing is done. Even all my drinks and snacks have been purchased and packed. I have, like, 6 things left to go in the bags, and they all have to wait until either the night before or the morning of. But more or less, it's finished. :thumbsup2

Last night, my little helper arrived to do his civic duty during my Disney packing process. Ya'll might remember him from my September 2014 TR. He just loves to lend a hand (paw?) once the suitcases come out of the closet... or try to stop me from leaving... I am never sure which. Either way, I had decided against using this particular bag, and set it to the side, and went back to working on another one. When I looked back, this is what I found:

...That's Harley. He's ridiculous.

My other cat, Butters, tends to help from a distance. And by "help," I mean sit on the other side of the room, a-fixing me with an accusatory "HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME, MAMA?!" glare. He's also ridiculous. Just to even the cuteness score, here is a picture of Butters:

Butters.jpg

Them's my furbabies. :lovestruc

Anyhow! Enough Crazy Cat-Lady ramblings! It's 10 days until Disney World and I'm all like this: :hyper::hyper::hyper:

I know there were other things I had planned for this update, but they all seem to be slipping my mind at the moment. They'll come back to me, I promise! ::yes::
