Surprise Quick Trip!!! Woo-Hoo!!!

My mom has agreed to take our 4 kids for 5 days the end of June. I just booked a studio at Saratoga for DH and I AND we managed to get reservations at Victoria and Alberts for the day we arrive!!!

I'm SOOOOOOOOO excited!!!! Just had to share!!!

Hubby and I could use some serious time together!!! I asked my mom if she would take the kids (ages 4, 6, 7, and 9) in lieu of birthday and Christmas presents she would get for my husband and me. We were originally going to Anaheim (never been), but some unexpected home repairs changed those plans. Instead, we're driving from NJ, using some points, and using days left on park-hoppers. It should be minimal $$$ out of pocket.

What a fantastic treat for you and your family. The kids get to spend time with Grandma (which is always fun!) and you and hubby get some nice time alone, which is worth more than any amount of money to me sometimes (and we currently only have two children lol)

Congrats on the trip. I just got word that my time off request for our suprise family trip in May was approved. So it looks like we have great fun to look foreward to enjoy your trip.

DH and I were lucky enough to have DH's Mom and Dad take our kids for 5 days in January while we went to WDW. We had an awesome time! Used Pts plus our annual pass so the trip could have been minimal out of pocket. We did splurge and do the Segway tour (excellent!) and enjoyed many meals with the DDE card. Was the best trip. We get an annual pass everyother year so we have vowed to go (without kids) mid way thru each annual pass.
