I'm headed to DL with my wife for a week and we are beyond excited. Well, we decided that we're going to skip going on Tuesday so we can sleep in a little bit, so I wanted to do something special for her for breakfast that day.

The park opens at 8, so I was thinking I could run over (I'm a passholder) and grab something from somewhere inside the park and bring it to her in bed. She'll probably sleep in till 9, so if I can get there and back in an hour I'll be good. We're staying at a hotel near the park, and I love to run, so I don't think getting there and back is much of an issue.

Are there any places that you guys would recommend? I guess something that is unique to Disneyland, and could be heated in a microwave if it got cold (or didn't need to be warm) would be ideal. Thanks in advance!!

That is very sweet of you! What kind of breakfast does she like? Sweet? Savory? Big breakfast or small? Personally, I am not a huge breakfast person, so the best thing to me is when DH runs and gets me a latte. But everyone is different.

Have you thought about getting a small treat and then going out for a nice leisurely breakfast together? Or if you like character breakfasts, perhaps taking the time to do that?

I hope you have a great time at the parks!

I'm not thinking anything too big and crazy, but she'll definitely eat something. Maybe like waffles or something? I think she likes River Belle Terrace, what can I get there? Really though, I'm open to whatever and I'm sure she is too. I just want something unique to Disneyland.

I think we might do a character breakfast a different day... we'll want to stay in the hotel for a while in our PJs.

Why don't you try the Jolly Holiday Bakery? They have a wide assortment of croissants, baked goods and breakfast-y foods. I loved their Chocolate croissant last time I was there. Goes well w/coffee. :thumbsup2

Check out their reviews/food pics on yelp...

Great thoughts, thank you. I think the Jolly Holiday Bakery is a very viable option.

Anyone else have suggestions?

What about going to White Water Snacks in the Grand and picking up some Mickey waffles?

You could do White Water Snacks in the Grand Californian Hotel! They have REALLY good food! everyone on Dis rates them very highly! For breakfast you can get breakfast burritos or breakfast sandwiches. They also have Mickey waffles and you can get different kinds of pastries here too, as well as coffee! :)

Great ideas! I think the Mickey Waffles might be the winner so far. We're also staying at GCH the first night, so I could also bring some up to her then.
