Surprise for kids

I noticed this elsewhere and thought it was awesome. Perhaps we can start some sort of "chain" I'm heading to Disney Oct 8-15 and if anyone that is there or will be there soon can send me a postcard from Mickey to my kids that would AWESOME!!

Great idea!!!
I have a special needs DD7 who would really benefit from this. She has never been to WDW and has no idea what to expect. Actually receiving something tangible (post card) would help her understand that the trip is actually going to happen. She has issues with distinguishing between reality and non-reality events as well as other difficulties.

If anyone is in WDW between now and the beginning of December (we will be in WDW Dec. 19) please feel free to send her a postcard. PM me if you are interested and I will give you our address.

Also, as mentioned, we will be in WDW starting on Dec. 19 for 4 nights and if anyone would like us to send your kids a postcard, please pm me details. I will try and mail out as many as I can.

Hey gang!
I have been making letters for my DD for the past month. The first one I did was from Cinderella and all I did was get some Disney and Cinderella clip art and I made my own piece of stationary. I then wrote her a quick note on it in my fanciest, unrecognizable handwriting saying

"Dear Princess Tori,
Word is spreading around the magic kingdom that you and your royal mother will be gracing us with your presence. Prince Charming and I will be awaiting your arival at the castle for breakfast on Thursday. We look forward to meeting you.
Magically Yours,
Cinderella"

I put it in a plain envelope and decorted it with Cinderella stickers and I bought those Disney stamps. I just mailed it from our local p/o. She is too little to understand what a postmark is so she can't see that it was sent from here. It arrives in our mailbox so it must be from Disney. In the return address, I put Walt Disney World Florida. I made up a few more like one from Buzz and another from Mickey.

This is an easy idea if you can't find someone to do a post card for you.
