Surprise Anniversary Dessert Party

I am not an expert, and have yet to have a dessert party...but last year I did see a party at Viking's Landing where they brought in additional seating. As I was planning my 40th birthday party this year one of the locations they suggested was Viking's Landing, I paid attention. As I have back issues, I need guaranteed seating and so I asked the question and they guaranteed seating for my guests (11 total.)

My party isn't until September, just in case I will be bringing a copy of my email and bill to ensure seating for our group. Since it's not my wedding, I'm not having an official photographer. Norway (in Epcot and in real life) has special meaning for us as family so that was more important than anything else.

Wow, that's great if they were able to book additional seating! When I was planning, they had told me you were not allowed additional seating (aside from existing benches) in the smaller venues (though you could request a few tallboy tables). This was a few years ago, so they might have changed their policy.

Dessert Party Photos

To help you guys out some more, #20 shows some photos from our Vikings Landing Dessert Party we had in 2011. Disney roped off one side and the other was blocked with the drink table. 3 benches that were 'built in' and Disney brought in two high tops. Had 23 people show up. :-)

I enjoyed the location. We did loose some of the fireworks due to the trees but no one complained.

Disney had assured me they can put seating for all of us in Viking's Landing, plus tables. They'll need permission of I want anything "on stage", which I'll have to decide. Has anyone had anything they particularly LOVED for their dessert party?! The only thing I'm sure I want is school bread!

I've got 18 people confirmed. If I end up with 20, they said they'll move me to UK lower or Isola West if it's still available, which would be great.

Now... On to the menu!! And I'm so indecisive!!!!!

Please order the marshmallow squares-they are heavenly!!:cloud9: I wish they sold these in the parks, but the only place I have seen them is at a dessert party.
