Surgery for uneven double chin covered?

I have known of a few things done by a plastic surgeon due to minor birth defects that caused cosmetic issues (face veins close to the surface causing usually red cheeks lasered, skin tag near eye, my mother-in-law had her eyelids done because they were obstructing her vision) so insurance took care of these but I'm wondering if a double chin on a thin person woukd be covered it's causing eating disorder like issues? Also if anyone has any experience what techniques worked and what was sketchy? I'm seeing all sorts of stuff on the Internet and while I am concerned with this I don't want to replace one problem with another one... Tricky tricky situation

I don't think so. If it is really causing that much distress you might want to try non-surgical services that they can do at a aesthetic center. They can do all kinds of different things to contour without surgery.

If the "uneven double chin" was causing the patient difficulty in eating or breathing, then it would mostly likely be covered by medical insurance. However, "eating disorder like issues" are better addressed in a therapist's office and not in an OR.
