surfing transportation

We're leaving in less than a month. For Christmas, I got my husband surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon. We were told to be at Typhoon Lagoon at about 7:00am to register and get equipment. Since there isn't any Disney transportation at that time in the morning we'll have to get a cab. Can I arrange for it at the front desk when I arrive or should I do it the evening before? Has anyone ever taken the surfing class? What was your experience?

We took a cab to TL from the resort. I did let concierge desk know, but there is typically a cab out front at the deluxes for the most part. I'm sure the front desk would be more than happy to call a cab for you. Just give them a buzz a 10 to 15 minutes before you leave so the cab will be ready to roll when you are.

PS - My DS LOVED the surf lessons! They must have changed the times, we had to be there by 5:45 in the morning. However, it is worth the little bit of shut eye we lost. You may want to consider signing yourself up. I wanted to jump in and do it myself after watching him. I may sign myself up next time we visit.
