Good Morning my fellow DIS'ers! Hope your well.

I come to you today for your wisdom, knowledge and ideas! (Have I buttered you up enough? :rotfl2: )

The story goes...

In August 10 of us are going to WDW to celebrate my Mum & Dads 30th Wedding Anniversary. At first we were going to go to the Bahamas, but we managed to talk them into another trip to WDW! Even better they are paying for me and my brother! :scared1:

But seeing as they have been great in treating us we want to do something special for them.....but we have no idea what!

So this is where I come to you and your ideas for help.........

Now I'm going back to 1991, so it may not happen now but I went on a days cruise from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas. It started early morning with meals on board included & about 4 hours off the ship. Just a thought with them thinking of going to the Bahamas.

Fireworks cruise?
Fancy cake?

Are you looking for something to do as a group or just them?

I can highly recommend Memories by Betsy for a gift. I know others recommend Disney florist as they can deliver to your room for arrival but when we had a package from Betsy a few years ago we were aable to choose exactly what we wanted (even down to rolls of quarters and pennies to go with a pressed penny album) - it makes a fun start to the trip.

Depending on where you are eating the cake is a good option but also the Cinderella's slipper at CRT and GF is amazing.

If you are eating at any WDW restaurants be sure and mark it on your reservations as they may get a complimentary surprise.

You can also have engraved items - Betsy used to arrange them for you too.

i used the disney florist and was very happy with their service.
However, you will have to pay in advance with a credit card.
I don't know if you have a credit card.

The disney florist will even decorate your parent's room as part of the surprise.
However, it's not cheap!

Knew I could count on my fellow DIS'ers!! :rotfl:

These are all great ideas, no way would I have thought of these. My plan for this evening is to start looking into them all and seeing which would be the best!!! If you have any more then fire away! :cheer2:

I like this idea, with there been 10 of you it might be nice for them to have this time together to relax & talk.

And if you plan it at the right time, when you come out of the tea you can sit in the main part of the building and listen to the piano being played which is really nice and relaxing:thumbsup2

If its just the two of them why ot contact grand floridian private dining and have a butler dinner on one of the balconys, we had i for our first wedding anniversary and it was brilliant, all private and you have a view of wishes. They sort menu and anything you want and its just the two of them and a butler

Similar to other people's suggestions here...

What about a night at V&As?

It's elegant, romantic, and the food is to die for!
