Supportive flip flops?

Ok, I'll admit it- I'm a 100% a flip flop girl. I'd wear them year-round if it weren't for living in NJ. I wear sneakers only for exercise and even then I can't wait to take them off.

I know I'll need some better options for walking in Disney. I'm bringing sneakers and a few other options but would love a recommendation for a supportive flip flop. I've heard that Crocs are great but there are so many styles/options I'm not sure which one to order.

Appreciate your help!

I bought a pair of regular Nike flip flops at Kohls earlier this summer and they are very comfortable and durable thus far. I like that they are thicker and have the wide straps that come around on the side instead of that little dot that connects under your foot if that makes sense.

I usually do 5 miles a day and don't notice a big difference in them and my regular nonspecific New Balance tennis shoes.

The best that I have found are Reef Dreams, which have a quilt-pattern padded footbed that massages your feet a bit and is soooo comfy! They have arch support, too. I wore them to Disney on my last trip there and the bottoms of my feet didn't hurt at all from all the walking, as they normally would. One of the days, I wore a regular-bottomed pair of Reef flip-flops and the bottoms of my feet did indeed hurt at the end of the day from all that walking. I wore my Dreams from there on out and no other days had hurting bottoms of my feet. Now, Dreams are basically the only flip-flop I wear (I have multiple pairs in different colors they have had over the last several years)! I buy them on Zappos.

Crocs and Sanuks have been good to me. But long days in flip flops can turn painful on the toes and the arches. You might want to think about Teva hiking sandals. If you're not used to them, they can be a little hard on the achilles, but the balls of your feet can blister pretty good (and between big toe, too) with a lot of walking on them.

I only wear flip flops to the park. My favorites are sanuk yoga mat one. Before our trip in June, I bought Skecher Go Walk Move flip flops and they worked great as well.

I'm a flip flop girl too !!! Love them, won't give them up till frost on the ground. Lol. I have only worn Teva Mush flip flops. Multiple Disney trips. I wear them all day in the parks no problem. Love them. Though I have to say I have never gone with a brand spanking new pair. I always get them right before spring, and by the time warmer weather comes they are set. Not that they are not comfy from the get go, I just find that as you wear them they start to conform to your feet, and the strap softens up even more Hope you find one that works for you, from one flip flop lover to another!

I love FitFlops! I've had two pairs for 2 years and my feet don't hurt at all when I wear them.

Whenever I first wore my Sanuks, they would absorb water when it rained and that was annoying because it made my feet slippery. Plus, Sanuks don't have that much support. :|

I'm a flip flop girl too, and my favorite ones to wear to the parks are OluKai Ohana flip flops. I just bought two pairs from Amazon before my last trip. They are the only flip flops that I wear in the parks because they are super comfortable and the bottoms are sturdy. I love them.

Vionic orthaheels and/or Skecher Gogamat. I need thicker soles and arch support otherwise my back starts to hurt. I've had success with both of these brands.
