All this waiting is killing me The second time i made an offer, it was accepted, but we're now more than a week further and the seller still hasn't signed their contract. They apparently had a problem opening the mailed documents (?????) and last Tuesday the broker priority mailed the documents over to them. The broker thinks they might have only received the papers by Friday and is hoping they will fax them back today or tomorrow.

Since i know a lot of you are also out there waiting, i though we could have a little support group so tell me, where are you in the process and how much is this killing you as well

I know exactly how you are feeling. It is all worth it in the end.

Im going through it right now. Waiting for ROFR though. I spend my free time lurking all these boards and soaking up all the DVC info I can as a first time buyer. Time seems to be standing still.

Just relax, and focus on other things going on in your life.
If you have kids, I am sure you have more than enough to keep you busy.

If the transaction is ment to be, it will happen.

If not, there are many other deals just waiting for you.

If you can't stop thinking about it, then start planning away.

Get to know how many points it takes to stay different places at different times. Match those up with when you can or want to travel.
Before long, you will be a DVC guru !!!

Some of the points that we are getting expire 2/1/12 so we need to plan a trip as soon as the sale is finalized. I have seen a post talking about a 4 week closing time. I can always hope but I know that it will likely take longer.

Buyer Open Escrow Form has a section that says I should expect the closing documents in 3-4 weeks!

E-mail also said that we should get closing documents in 10 days.

Been waiting 21 days now for Disney to decide on ROFR. It's killing me!!!! Especially when I see that 3 contracts submitted after mine came back last week and i'm still waiting!
