Support group for us no pin people!?

:rotfl: I'm trying to work up the nerve to call too! I'm afraid I get a mean CM who tells me off or I get one that says "what pin are you talking about???" :headache:

I'll give it a try during my lunch break.

OK, here's my new plan of attack for getting a pin: I will call this afternoon, then I'm going to create one more email profile. I'm going to save three offers, one value, one mod and one deluxe. No itin's this time. Didn't work for me anyways. Then I'll choose "not a good value" on the exit survey. Then I'll stay off the Disney site like jgallant said for a whole week. I will not log on from my house, I will not log on with a mouse. I will log on sam I am I will not log on eating green eggs and ham. Oh boy, I'm getting punchy now. :eek:

Well I called, nothing for me, or my friends whom we travel with. I called last Tuesday as well, BOTH times I ended the call with a reservation on hold.
Last week it was POLY CL, this week somewhere else.
She was really really great though!

Interesting. I did this around 7am this morning and am now reading your post. Hopefully I'll have a pin by Thursday! :goodvibes

I'm not counting on it though. (sigh) :sad2:

Edited to add, I thought I would check my e-mail and was so excited to see something from Disney! But it's not a pin... It's a "welcome to disneyworld.com". Now they want me to update my profile.

Do you guys think I should, or ignore it and stay off Disney's site for awhile? I already have 2 other accounts with Disney that I have completely filled out a profile, saved offers, and intenaries with no offers...

I would update your profile. At the bottom of your profile they ask how would you like us to communicate with you. Edit that to include email and home address. Then stay off the website.
 
You need to create a new Email address on Yahoo and start from scratch on the Disney site TODAY. About 1/2 the people who got pins say they created their accounts on TUESDAY! They got their pins on Thursdays.

So... shall I use the same home address and postal code ( CM's keep telling me it is by household ), or shall I pull an address out of a hat?

I will wait for a reply from somebody, while I go create another email address with yahoo...........................:laughing:

Well, you will get one eventually! I can't wait to edit the list to check people OFF the list!

I am currently halfway through my XX# profile... don't want to say I am really really embarrassed ( yes I have been know to impulsively make more than one in a day... so ... so ... lame! ) But I don't have one for today or for a Monday, what an over sight! Now I have to wait till next Monday to round it all out nicely. HHHMMM.... Really hoping it won't go that far though!~

I think that PINS will come in droves this week! ;)

Eekk! I totally forgot to check those off when I created the new account this morning. :scared1: Thanks for the reminder!

I went and created another one for my husband as well, made sure to check those off, saved a plan at AKL where we want to stay, but left it and stated it was too inexpensive. Then created an interary for staying off site and purchasing tickets upon arrival.

Now I'll leave both accounts alone and see what happens. Oh please wish me luck!! I'd really love a 20/30/40 so we can stay at AKL for our first and maybe only trip!

Now, you have me wondering (since I'm able to plan everyone's trip but my own) ... did you check POR AB and the cabins? I do so want everybody in the world to get to go to WDW (just not on the same day I am there, if I make it.)

I did not check POR or the Cabins. Niether myself or my husband are tiny people, I can't sleep with him in a double bed... it just won't work. Plus we have an adult in our group with MS and has trouble walking, so I was told to stay away from the cabins.

I just noticed in my pin email (I just loooove saying that) that it says "thanks for making plans on My Disney Vacation" so the itinerary planning and stating that you don't want accomdations does work. Also I have not logged on with this email account since I created it which was about 7 or 8 days ago.
 
Ok i called again today mainly because I had a question about the dining plan and maybe if I actually talked about a package they would send me a pin LOL However once again they had trouble finding me in the system by my name/address. She kept insisting she couldn't find me and that she needed my reservation number. Had to end of getting guest services. Not sure why I am so hard to find!!

I did create a brand new account with a brand new email - we will see what happens. Disney should see our desperation and throw us a bone already! :rotfl:

Question for those who have called: do you just come right out and ask the CM to check for a pin for you or do you price something out first? I was under the impression you couldn't call and ask anymore but a lot of people seem to be doing it. Also, if I have 5 or more profiles with Disney would they need to know each email to check or is it all by your home address so this business with multiple email accounts is all for nothing??

I dialed the reservation number from the Disney website. I stated that I only had a question when ask if I wanted to make or change a reservation. It was automated but for some reason it kept repeating my last name back to me incorrectly, so I was trasnfered to a reservation CM. I told the CM that I had a question. He said he was ther to help in anyway he can. ;) I stated that I wanted to know if I had an discount codes in my name. He asked my address and stated I had a varied discount plan available linked to my household. I asked what does that mean? He then explained the 20/30/40 with the blackout dates. then asked if I wanted to book a trip. I told him I needed to speak with my DH, but we are planning on reserving for this fall.

Then I thanked him and I was off the phone!!

Ok, I still want to know where in the itinerary section it is asking you for the "reason" you haven't selected to stay on-site.
When I do the itinerary and choose "Non Disney Resort" from the drop-down menu, it never asks me for the reason why. It just goes to the next section which "do I need park tickets".

Is there a different form depending on where you're from?
I am in Canada, but I'm using the regular Disney.com site to login and build my itinerary.
