If I missed anyone - post you name and date waiting and I will add it to our growing list... I don't know why I decided to do this, pathetically, it gives me something to do while waiting, and it helps to know there are SOOO MAny, I did not even realize.

There are a few that have JUST recently graduated from PINLESS to PINIFUL! Which is absolutely awesome, because it really does give us the boost of hope that we too can have a Pin with the CLICK OF A MOUSE!

Blech. Nothing. I'm so utterly dejected this morning. I feel like I'm in high school all over again. The girl no one likes and is rejected all the time.

Question for those who have called: do you just come right out and ask the CM to check for a pin for you or do you price something out first? I was under the impression you couldn't call and ask anymore but a lot of people seem to be doing it. Also, if I have 5 or more profiles with Disney would they need to know each email to check or is it all by your home address so this business with multiple email accounts is all for nothing??

5. Nope, I went after mine like I was mining for gold. The save offers to the website, do the exit customer survey thing worked for me. Three times now so I am a beleiver in the save vacation offers trick. The key part to mine was i had to stay OFF wdw's website for a few days before it would trigger the pin to be sent. Some achieved this by clearing cookies and deleting temp files but for me I had to clear everything wait a few days and then poof the pins started arriving. ( PIRATEGIRL007 )

I just asked right away (once I got the nerve up to call.)
I reached the nicest CM in the world. I feel just awful knowing this ressie isn't going to work out.

I recently got the 20/30/40 pin. I was so super excited I called and well, there are no rooms left in the value resort and I can't afford what is left in the Deluxe even with the PIN, so .
I also called and asked if there was a PIN under my husbands name, sure enough 35% off your room... so I asked if it was available on ASMu, sure it is, but not the Suite... which I have as there is 5 of us... I could switch to two rooms, but they can not guarantee connecting room and I lose my kitchenette, which is going to save me money.
So I say PIN/SCHMIN!

Initially, I created and account on Disney's site I saved 5 trips all the same date but for different price ranges and packages. I patiently waited for a week, then I logged back in and noticed a little note on the account page that if I completed my profile I would receive "something" from Disney. So I scrolled down the page and answered ALL the numerous questions. Ten very agonizing days later I got a 20/30/40 pin. ( Shan136 )

What if...

We swore of Disney web site for the remainder of the week until Monday ( after creating ONE more profile and email address and playing then log off and leave it and do not one thing till next Monday... do you think you could do it?
Cut Disney off TOTALLY for one full week? NO CALLING, NO SAVING VACATIONS NO ITINERARIES? We could save 10 vacations and 10 itineraries in one day under one new profile , email addy and log off ????

Do you think you ((( I ))) could do it> ONLY the Dis Forum for a WHOLE WEEK?????????

You need to create a new Email address on Yahoo and start from scratch on the Disney site TODAY. About 1/2 the people who got pins say they created their accounts on TUESDAY! They got their pins on Thursdays.

I reached the nicest CM in the world. I feel just awful knowing this ressie isn't going to work out.

I'm trying to work up the nerve to call too! I'm afraid I get a mean CM who tells me off or I get one that says "what pin are you talking about???"

I'll give it a try during my lunch break.

OK, here's my new plan of attack for getting a pin: I will call this afternoon, then I'm going to create one more email profile. I'm going to save three offers, one value, one mod and one deluxe. No itin's this time. Didn't work for me anyways. Then I'll choose "not a good value" on the exit survey. Then I'll stay off the Disney site like jgallant said for a whole week. I will not log on from my house, I will not log on with a mouse. I will log on sam I am I will not log on eating green eggs and ham. Oh boy, I'm getting punchy now.

Does it matter which email account you created one on?? Am I reading too much into it? I was going to make my new one on hotmail but maybe I should yahoo.

Interesting. I did this around 7am this morning and am now reading your post. Hopefully I'll have a pin by Thursday!

I'm not counting on it though. (sigh)

Edited to add, I thought I would check my e-mail and was so excited to see something from Disney! But it's not a pin... It's a "welcome to disneyworld.com". Now they want me to update my profile.

Do you guys think I should, or ignore it and stay off Disney's site for awhile? I already have 2 other accounts with Disney that I have completely filled out a profile, saved offers, and intenaries with no offers...
