I'm taking "Flat Stanley" and holding him up high with both hands for the photo! Do you think he will be terribly frightened? I so hope he doesn't fly out of my hands........:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Oh, I hope he doesn't fly out either! Maybe you should make him a "leash" so he's attached to your wrist. :rotfl2:

Oh and CP there is a handle to hold on to, but I don't know anyone that uses it...:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:
Is the handle in front of you or to the sides?

The handle is to the sides..... and honestly, the drops are not that huge, you drop a little, then go up a little, it puts me in mind of a yo-yo.......:goodvibes I love the leash idea for Stanley that should keep him safe. Sometimes when I ride it I put a penny on the palm of my hand and hold it up in front of me to see where the penny has landed when the ride is finished........

The only ride that I'm not fond of is RNR because it hurts my neck....:sad2: but come to think of it, maybe I was way too tense when we rode it:rotfl:

I just don't know if I can do it. It's freaky!! How cool is a vow renewal on The Great Movie Ride!!! I wonder if they'd do one on the Carousel of Progress!? :rotfl2:

She actually asked for other suggestions beyond The Great Movie ride and my first thought was CoP! I think that would be SO FUN!

Yay!! A Chicken's Guide to Tower of Terror! :lmao:

:rotfl: The chicken exit is right at the last second too. You get to go through the library pre-show, all through the queue and into the boiler room, and there is an elevator that you go into for the chicken exit to get outta there! ;)

<raises hand>
I can't help but use it!

What a fun idea with the penny...does it usually end up right near your feet or all the way across the room?

LL and CP - wigdoutdismom is right, the drop isn't all the way to the bottom, then all the way to the top and then back down over and over. It's small ups and downs, makes it really fun and less scary!

The penny usually ends up just down by my feet, but I still feel the need to do it:confused3. Wouldn't it be awful if it launched itself and put someone's eye out?!? pirate:

Hmmm....I'm going to have to watch that ride through again. I'm starting to feel a little bit braver.

That really would be! It's a great big beautiful tomorrow, afterall!

Good to know!

Less scary = :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Always visit the castle on the first day..........It looks like we are on the same page! :goodvibes

It's time for another rambling post!

I ordered a new shower curtain this weekend for our new apartment.

You can't really see the pattern too well, so here is a close up of the pattern. I did not order the tissue box, just the shower curtain.

How cute is that!?! :woohoo: I'm so excited. I wanted something fun for the bathroom and I showed it to Marc and he liked it because it was more subltle Disney and didn't involve any Disney Princesses. I have been trying to talk him into an Ariel shower curtain for weeks!

Yesterday I went on a shopping spree, well not exactly spree but it felt like it to me. I have done very little shopping just for the fun of it lately. I went to Kohl's and after an hour of looking around I purchased two green rugs for the bathroom and a pair of earrings.

On sale for $16!!! Yahoooo!! I had a pair very similar to these that I bought from QVC last year but sadly one of the stones fell out of them. I hope these ones hold up better. They also had the CUTEST pair of Tink earrings EVER and I would have bought those instead but it was missing an earring! :sad2:

Then I went to Michael's and bought some craft supplies for my bathroom project.

Here you can see that we have actually gotten some packing done!

After Michael's I went to Staples next door to pick up a corkboard for my project. They wanted $27 bucks for a large one. No way was I going to pay that for a corkboard. I headed over to Wal*Mart next. They had a better color bathmat that matches the light green better in the shower curtain and for 1/2 the price of Kohl's! So I picked those up for $12!! I was so proud of myself. I also bought a corkboard for $8.97. Much better price. I was on a roll, so I picked up some new dishrags and dish towels and was on my merry way back to Kohl's to return my $30 bathmats.

I finally made my way home (listening to Boo to You, no less) and started my craft project. I have decided that I want to display my pins on the corkboard in the bathroom. Weird, yes. I just want a little touch of Disney somewhere and the fact that I hate getting up in the morning and getting ready for work, I think Disney in my bathroom will help. :yay:

I wanted to paint the frame of the corkboard green and the inside white, just to make it look a little fancier. Then I am going to seal it with a protective coat so that it will last a bit longer with the moisture from the shower.

Yeah. It looks awful. Marc likes it but I take that opinion with a grain of salt. This is the man that is overly attached to a scorpian bowl and loves these ugly Parrots that have been in our living room for two years. Is it wrong to hope that they break during the move? :rolleyes1

I took pictures of it but it doesn't show it's ugliness properly. I also still need to do some touchups. I was so frustrated last night that I just stopped working on it.

What do you all think? I think a plain corkboard would look better. MAYBE paint the frame white but that is as far as I would go. :confused3

Finally, here are some pictures to show you the size difference in my kitties. They were loving the open windows yesterday!! And now, it's snowing! Gotta love New England. :headache:

74 Days until Disney!!

25 Days until We Move!!

:thumbsup2 I just found your pj and I am so excited! I got annoyed with writing DF so much so now I just write Vin too! What great pictures you have up as well!

Oh and PS- I got the same earrings as you for this year's trip!

What if you covered the cork part of the board with fabric? I think felt would work the best.

My bathroom is Mickey Mouse. I need to find a new Mickey themed toothbrush holder....mine is cracked.

I like the shower curtain. If you plan to keep the bathroom the same for a long while you might want to consider buying a second shower curtain now, before Disney stops selling that design.
