My first reaction is that no, drinks aren't part of it. I think the combo part is the side of fries or apple slices or whatever. But I'm not sure. There must be pictures of the menus somewhere?

PS- kudos for a budget so detailed it includes the drinks! Although since soda is ~$5 I guess it adds up!!

I don't think the combo meals come with a drink but I could be wrong? We've always done the DDP so I haven't done a lot of figuring out items separately.

The combo meals do not come with a drink -- you have to order that separately -- on the DDP, it does, but not when you pay OOP. Hope that helps!

Thanks guys!! I was thinking about it more last night and was thinking it didn't. I'm just trying to be super prepared for what I am going to spend on everything!

Probably. But then again that is the world of DISers. I am more obsessed with my budget this trip since I am going solo. I don't know why. It's not like I won't have my debit card down there if needed.

If you're a big water drinker LL, do what we did and buy yourself a case of water at DD across the street from Planet Hollywood OR a 6 pack of soda/juice, etc and bring one with you for whatever meal you're doing a counter service for. We saved so much money by doing that, although we did all counter service and not any sit downs.

I think I will end doing something like that. Jen has graciously offered to bring some food and drinks down for me since she is driving to Disney. She's the bestest!!

I'm sooo proud of your little Megan! My girls (who are now quite grown) never totally got into Mary Poppins, although they did love Julie in The Sound of Music This will date me but I remember seeing Mary Poppins in a very large theater with a bazillion balconies when it first was released! It even had an intermission I'm hoping to see Mary again at 1900 Park Fare in about hmmmm 25 days. If Megan has a message that she would like me to pass on to Mary, I'd be more than happy to do so!

Oh you are SO sweet!!! I think right now, she is excited about going back to "Mickey's House" just to see Mary Poppins----I think I am going to have to try to find her on one of our first days, or else we will be plagued by a 5 year old looking for her all week!!! She said she can't wait to come see her, give her a GREAT big hug, and sing Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious with her!!!!

I'm just going to post all of my solo days in this update since everything is more of a guideline instead of a strict itinerary.

Day Four.
*Jen will leave around 3PM.
*I will head to either Animal Kingdom or straight to Animal Kingdom Lodge. I'd really like to get some pics at AKL, I have some lights that I must hunt down.
*Dinner at Jiko. I'd like an earlier dinner. I have a feeling I am going to be pretty exhausted. I am going to try to get the earliest ADR possible.
*Head back to ASMu and call it an early night.

Day Five.
*Sleep in or if I am feeling refreshed head to Magic Kingdom for the Morning EMH. I am not sure how I will feel so who knows what will really happen.
*CS Lunch at MK or Epcot. I am tempted to put in Liberty Tree Tavern for this meal but there are so many CS options that I want to try that I hesitate to do that.
*Head to Epcot, take in some rides, maybe get a FP or two for later on.
*Midday Break...? I don't know if I will be getting an early or later start so I don't know if I will even want to go back to ASMu. If I don't I would like to head back to MK for the 3PM parade.
*Evening at MK. This is the last I'd get to enjoy Spectromagic. Jen and I plan on watching it on Sunday but I think I might want to see it twice.

Day Six.
*EMH's at Animal Kingdom. I'm not sure about this but I think it will stick. For some reason I get overwhelmed in my planning when I try to include AK and it makes me want to skip the park again. So if I am not feeling, I won't go.
*Midday Break at ASMu
*Evening at Hollywood Studios. They are having EMH's 7PM - 10PM this evening and I don't want to miss them. There is no Fantasmic scheduled for that night yet and even so, I will be okay missing Fantasmic this trip if that is what it comes down too.

Day Seven.
*Sleep in.
*Head to whatever park I want, Yay!
*Midday Break...??
*Epcot late afernoon through the EMH's evening hours. Maybe catch Illuminations again. I really adore being in the parks at night, they seem even more magical then. I am also toying with adding in an ADR to this day but I have no idea what it would be.

Day Eight.
*Head to any park that I am feeling.
*Midday Break
*Evening at Magic Kingdom. I am super excited that I will be able to enjoy another set of EMH's here. I love the MK at night, the EMH's are from 9PM - Midnight. I am so excited that.....


......I booked an extra night at DISNEY!!!!

Yep, instead of Friday May 22 - 29th, I am now leaving the 30th. Yayayaya!!



Between the airfare credit and having overpaid for my trip when I made the adjustments with Jen coming along, I still didn't owe any "extra" money. So I had the brilliant idea of changing my flights and adding on an extra day and so I did. And Disney still owes me a whopping refund check of $1.24.

Day Nine.
*Sleep In.
*Check out, have baggage services hold my luggage.
*Say Goodbye to Epcot. I would like a departure day ride on Soarin. I find myself thinking of Soarin the most when I am really missing the Disney rides.
*Say Goodbye to Magic Kingdom. *Sniffle*
*My flight is around 6PM, so I am assuming Magical Express will pick me up around 3PM.
*Goodbye Disney.

So there you have it. My rough itinerary. I am sure it will change 101 times while I am actually there but that is okay with me. I like having a rough estimate.

I really should have name this PTR, "Planning Suprises" or something like that. The itinerary, hotel, dates, transportation...EVERYTHING has changed about 1,001 times. Thanks for putting up with my undecided self!

What time do you come in? I know I will be. I had to make sure before I changed that he was okay with me coming in a day later. He was happy that my flight is coming in a bit earlier than before. He's just happy that I am getting to go on this vacation. He tells me everyday how excited he is for me and how much I need one.

I think our flight arrives around 12:30ish, then off to ME. I can't imagine that we will be at our resort anytime before 2:00.

Jen- did you ever see my first report when Hannah rode the carousel with Mary Poppins. It was my all time favorite Disney moment- on her birthday none the less! I have always seen her at EPCOT in England, every trip!
