Geez LL, I finally make it over to your PTR and its at 30 pages! :scared1: Good thing I like to procrastinate at work and had plenty of time to read through it. :thumbsup2

Hopefully I can start my TR soon so I can post the light fixture pics I took! :rotfl: BTW, LOVE that chandelier tee. PERFECT for you!:flower3:
Hehehe. So glad to have you here. :goodvibes I can't wait for your TR to start! Make sure you post the link over here so I don't miss it. :thumbsup2

Oh. My.

Must resist. Have I told you that my January resolution (because Yearly resolutions don't work for me, I am doing monthly ones) is no internet shopping for the entire month of January.

Maybe if I still want it in Feb. I will buy it!

It's still December ;) :rotfl2:

Monthly resolutions -- what a perfectly wonderful idea! I think I am going to do that, too. Yearly resolutions always overwhelm me so I never make any.

Hi! I have been lurking...:cool2: But, I wanted to share something I saw on the TODAY show. They had 2 ladies on there (one from some magazine and another who was a psychologist or something) who were talking about making SMALL resolutions instead of the big ones that most people fail at. The example that stuck out in my mind was they had a woman who set the goal to exercise for just one minute a day for 30 days. She did one minute of pushups every morning, and at the end of the month she had lost 7 lbs.:cheer2:

They said that little bit of exercise helped her metabolism and also encouraged her to make other small healthy choices throughout the month.

So, small goals or resolutions=more likely to be kept! Also, small steps can lead to real results.

I have promised to do 10 minutes of exercise for 30 days-from Christmas day until we leave for Disney on January 24th. So far I have done 6 days. I figure if she lost 7 lbs. in a month with one minute a day, I should lose 70 lbs. doing 10 minutes! :rotfl2:

Sorry if I hijacked your thread...

Our possible dates for next December are the 6th - 13th. We really are thinking of canceling though. We just have some other stuff we'd like to do in 2009, but of course we still have our May trip! ;)

We are looking at making our December trip line up with the land portion of Mousefest in 2009...but not entirely sure of the dates yet. If it works out, and you end up going, maybe our paths will cross! :goodvibes

I'm with ya'll on the monthly resolutions - sometimes mine are weekly even! My biggest one is to keep my cell phone with me (and charged) at all times. I'm terrible at doing that and it drives my DH crazy!

I like the 1 minute a day exercise idea too - I think I could handle that...but the problem is that I'm hardly coherent enough to figure out how to get into the shower, let alone remember that I have to exercise! ;)

But you have to go in December to see the Osbourne Lights and the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House and all the pretty holiday light fixtures... :goodvibes

I can't take the credit for them, the Marcettes were talking about supporting each other with their resolutions and we came up with the idea of revamping each month. :goodvibes

No apologies for the hijack necessary! That is really interesting. I might have to do something like that! Thanks for the information.

I want to do that plan!

Whenever we do go in December, I would like it to be during Mousefest!

We'll make it there some year if not this year! :thumbsup2

And thanks to this thread, I just purchased my first VB bag!

Enablers is right!

Hehehe. Do you love it?

Speaking of Vera Bradley, the website has some really good sales, all the patterns they are retiring... I have decided it is definitely time to finally get one and can't decide between the hipster and the cargo sling... it'll be my every day purse...

LL, I know you love your hipster, do you use it all the time or is it your Disney bag?

I only just ordered it yesterday. I'll let you know when it comes. But it was only $27, including shipping! Good deal :goodvibes
Very good deal!

I have been using my hipster as an everyday purse. The size works for me. I tried the cargo sling out at the store and I felt it was too big for everyday use.

Just randomly stopping by to say hello...because I can!!! LOL
