Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

LL...I was voting for a park....third day is MK day LOL...hello LOL!!!! :rotfl:

I want that Cobb salad and grapefruit cake :).

Yep, rolling back the clocks on Sunday -- I hate losing that hour of sleep, but it does mean I get to make my ADRs earlier.
There is that bright side! :rotfl: The Cobb Salad is SO GOOD. *Drool*

Hehehe.

LL...I was voting for a park....third day is MK day LOL...hello LOL!!!! :rotfl:
Uh huh. Sure! ;)

Love the new table! Very cute.
Thanks! I'm loving it and Marc was impressed that I picked it out, he said it was much more his style than mine.

What would a LL PTR be without some lists? Well it wouldn't be an LL PTR that's for sure! :rotfl: The votes have been counted and Magic Kingdom is the winner.

In no way do I plan to achieve all of these things on the lists. The lists are merely guidelines. If I don't have a clear picture of what I want to do, I can get frustrated and pouty and end up back at ASMusic instead of enjoying the Disney Parks that I dream about for months.

Magic Kingdom
*Pirates of the Caribbean
*Jungle Cruise @ Night
*Magic Carpets of Aladdin
*Swiss Family Treehouse
*Enchanted Tiki Room
*Big Thunder Mountain (?)

I am not sure if I will ride this. I have before and I am not a huge roller coaster fan but I think it would be nice to ride this at night so it's on the list.
*Bear Country Jamboree (?)
I groan after I see this everytime but there is something that keeps me coming back. I think it might be because it used to be my mom's favorite attraction and she had a t-shirt that she used to wear all the time.
*Haunted Mansion
*Liberty Square

I just really want to explore every nook and cranny of Liberty Square. I love the theme, it just makes me happy.
*Peter Pan's Flight
*It's a Small World
*Mickey's Philharmagic
*Snow White's Scary Adventure
*The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
*Dumbo the Flying Elephant @ night

This is what you call pure Disney Joy. :lovestruc

I'd also like to take a blurry photo of Dumbo lit up night with my tripod. I don't know how to describe it or the technical term, I just know I have seen them before and that I love them. :thumbsup2
*Meet Minnie & Mickey
I don't believe I have ever had my picture with Mickey. :rolleyes1
*Pixie Hollow
*Super Secret Sometime Greeting Area for Merlin.

Shhhh. I'll tell you if it works.
*Storytime with Belle
I'd really like to at least get a glimpse of this. It looks cute.
*Carousel of Progress
*Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
*Exposition Hall on Main Street for photo cutouts
*Train around MK
*Dreams Come True Parade

Does anyone know if this has changed for What Will You Celebrate?
*Spectromagic
*Wishes

Counter Service Options
Casey's Corner
Pinocchio's Village Haus
Columbia Harbour House
Pecos Bill's
Main Street Bakery

These are just the CS Options that interest me. I feel like on the MK List, I pretty much every every attraction in the park. :rotfl:
So what park would you like next?

Reading your list of MK stuff makes me so want to be there RIGHT THIS MINUTE! I just love your lists!!! :goodvibes

Will you PM me after your trip if the Merlin meeting works???

I vote for DHS next -- do you know that for some reason, I am most looking forward to that park in June? It used to be my all-time favorite when I was younger, and it seems to be creeping back up the list. I think it is the series I am currently reading.

Yes, I most certainly will PM you. I just don't want to jinx it before my trip.

Ooh, what series are you reading? I love DHS. It's right there with Epcot for me after MK. Especially at night, it's just seems so glamorous.

*Jungle Cruise @ Night

*Snow White's Scary Adventure

I want AK next! But before that I want to comment!!!

Jungle Cruise at Night...very fun! We did it at night at Disneyland....some of those animals look real at night!

Snow White- ride it now before they get rid of it...they are doing surveys about getting rid of it

Love that picture! To do Dumbo, you need to set your film speed low...that will make the "trail" effect. Do the same thing for fireworks and you'll get the whole trail of the firework blasting up.

Super Secret Merlin location??? I must know about this! I have a picture of me and Merlin when I was 16 (when he just walked around the park)...can't wait to see if it works.

It's by Stuart Kaminsky and it's a mystery series. The main character is Toby Peters -- a private investigator in Hollywood in the 1930's and 1940's. He always gets involved with various movie stars/celebrities. The one I just read was called Dancing in the Dark, and Toby Peters was hired by Fred Astaire to solve a case. In one he helps Bela Lugosi and there is one where he is hired as security on the set of The Wizard of Oz; another one that has Clark Gable in it; one with Cary Grant. There are so many in the series but unfortunately most of them are out of print -- luckily my library has a lot of them, but I noticed ebay and amazon booksellers have a lot up for sale. They remind me a lot of Who Framed Roger Rabbit without the Toons. :rotfl:

We rode Jungle Cruise at night last time and it was so awesome, like a totally different ride.
Snow White isn't great in my opinion but it feels like something I have to ride.

Yep, my dad has been giving me a tutotorial on how to set my camera settings. I'm really excited about it. I'll have the time to do it because no one will be waiting for me, unless I try when Jen is with me. I'll just make her Haunted Mansion promises and she'll be fine.

I really hope meeting Merlin works. I was so bummed when he wasn't at MNSSHP. :sad2:

Oh, my goodness, those sound really really good! I was just lamenting about how I won't have anything to read after Night Jasmine. :thumbsup2

Great List!! I totally think we could do a lot of those!! I'm all about the rides at night...of course you know how much I love the parks at night!!!

I love that pic of you LL...you look like you are having such a great time!!!!

Okay...so Merlin we're so going to find him!! I'm game!!! :rotfl:

Well I'm going to try to vote right this time Geez!!! I vote for your EPCOT list!!! Cuz you know I love me some EPCOT!

They are really good -- my mom "made" me read one and then I was completely hooked. They are quite amusing, too. Stuart Kaminsky is a professor of film history so they are very authentic.

OMGosh! That picture of you on Dumbo is so AWESOME!! The look on your face says it all! Now that is what Disney is all about!! Love it!!!:lovestruc

Oh! The list is great too! Let's see Epcot next!

Are you implying that I can be convinced to do almost anything with promises of Haunted Mansion...well I never.............

Knew you knew me so well LOL!! Cuz its so true...I can be bought off so easily if it involves that ride LOL!!!

Great buy on the new table! I would love to have one with granite in the middle because then you could put hot pots on the table, and even cut on it, and not worry about it. Very slick! It will look great with the black picture frames too.

YAY on Liberty Tree Tavern! The Fried Cheese sounds goooooooooood. I am not a big cheese fan, except in certain ways and fried is one of 'em! Yumm-o!

I love your MK list. When I wrote out ours (mine!) for January, it was similar. Pretty much everything. There just isn't much I would willinging skip at MK! It's so fun.

That Dumbo pic of you is soooooo wonderful. It takes me right back to MK and makes my heart ache to be there! Pure joy oozes from your smile and it's complete with the Minnie ears! :cloud9: Perfect!

I do believe the parade has changed over to the "Celebrate" theme. Which I've heard is fairly similar, same floats-just with a new theme, but don't quote me on that. It's past midnight and I'm tired. I could just be making things up. ;) :rotfl:

I am throwing in a vote for AK next!

:rotfl2: Love how you can bribe Jen with the HM!

I hope you can get the pic-it would be REALLY cool. Open your shutter (f-stop) to allow for light in (which, if your camera shows the f-stop number is a small number), set the shutter speed on something slow, probably a second or so and hold that tripod steadyyyyy! Oooh, I think I might have to steal this idea for December! What a neat shot that will be, I can't wait to see yours!!

Great plan, LL! I like that they are guidelines vs. a touring plan. I get the same way if I don't have a list/reminder. It can be overwhelming. And there is no pouting in WDW!!!

Awesome list!!! I've heard the treehouse can be good at night too. Apparently there is a spot somewhere were you can get a night shot of the castle through the tree. Jungle Cruise and BTMRR at night are also on my list.

Love, love, love that photo of you on Dumbo. You're right... that is pure Disney joy. Your plan for a photo from there sounds cool!

Fingers crossed that your Merlin secret works out! :)

Snow White- ride it now before they get rid of it...they are doing surveys about getting rid of it.

Ack! :scared: Get rid of it? I know it's not a great ride but I have lots of childhood memories associated with it. I hope they don't get rid of it! :sad2:

I have to say I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the Snow White ride. Think of all the magical delightful things they could replace it with! :scratchin

The photo of you on Dumbo is quite joyous! I haven't ridden it in years and that kind of makes me want to. If the queue isn't its usual 60+ minutes maybe!

I'm also intruiged about the secret Merlin spot :wizard: I think I might know where it is....

Love the list! MK is hard to say there is anything I don't want to do too!
