superbowl?

does anyone know if they will be showing superbowl on the wonder in 2 weeks?it is on cbs this year and we were on one time when the olympics we're on and they could not show on boat because it has to be abc or espn?and i guess it happened before during some of the games at march madness that they couldn't show it either.
will be bummed big time if they can't show it.

i know steverog on the boards will be on the 3 night wonder right before us so i'll see if he can ask someone there and if he is going to use inetrnet cafe maybe he can post it.

They have always shown the Super Bowl in the past, so I would assume they will do so this year. I think they show it in a couple of the clubs and set up a viewing area elsewhere. Maybe the Promenade Lounge?

Last year they showed the Super Bowl on the Wonder. They will probuably do it again this year.

i really hope you guys are right.being from massachusetts i have to see my patriots win.
but i think the superbowl last year was on abc and then they would show it on the ship.heres hoping.

Last year on the Magic we watched it in the Promenade (sp?) lounge. It was on formal night, so I think it was the most nicely dressed Superbowl party ever attended. LOL

I don't know what channel it was on, but Dave from Marrietta said that DCL has a special agreement or something like that to get a feed to the telecast.

Poor Vikings. . . . maybe next year

I think our March 20 cruise date will be during the college national championship games. Do you suppose they will show the "sweet sixteen" and final four" games during the cruise?

My DH is most certainly hoping so.

I can't imagine that they wouldn't have it on board - I mean, I'm a fan, but no where near as rabid as some can get, can you IMAGINE if they didn't have it on board, and we leave Key West at 9:45? *grin*

Here's hoping...but either way, we'll be sporting our Pats gear that day!

the t.v in the rooms didn't get nbc or cbs either.
i just remember everyone at the espn club giving the bartender a hard time because they couldn't show the olypics at night.and she said they were in an uproar when they couldn't show the march madness games that were on cbs at night either.
hopefully i can get cell service sunday night and i'll call a buddy up and have him put phone next to t.v.ha!

They will most surely be showing the Superbowl at the ESPN club. I was on the cruise last year and had such a great time that we re-booked to watch the superbowl this year on the Magic. Only problem was that they did away with the espn club on the magic and I will be sailing this next weekend. The SB will be the following weekend. They always play the SB on the last Sunday in January but no not this year. This stinks for me since I am a HUGE Pats fan and I will be driving home on Superbowl Sunday from Florida.

Looks like you'll have to find all the radio stations that cover it, until you hit our area...you should be able to pick up WBCN in Connecticut/Rhode Island at the very least!!
