Superbowl 2011 tickets

I know its not for another year, and have heard the tickets can be very expensive. But is there anyway to purchase tickets to this without having connections?

Yea if you have season tickets , your name will go in a lottery to buy Superbowl tickets, if your team is one of the teams who may be in the big show.
its the luck of the draw and even very hard to buy tickets this way. Alot of ticket holders will put their name in the lottery to possibly get tickets even with no intention of going, because the ticket holder can sell the superbowl ticket to a scalper for big dollars.

There 's is always going to the game in the hope of buying from a scalper outside of the stadium . And there is always the ticket brokers who have them for sale.

Yep very expensive. Depends on what your priorites are and how bad you want to see a superbowl.

I know that since my family has seasontickets to the dallas games, we get put into a lottery for the superbowl tickets--ive never done that so I dont know the chances of getting tickets--but im hoping!!

I would estimate a $1000.00 for a legitimate ticket. They are gettng very expensive and seriously its sad it has come to this. I know its a business blah blah blah, but its the average fans who attend the games, buy merchandise and support their hometeam and when that team is lucky enough to make it to the big show, the average fan can't even afford to go.

Our superbowl trip was very expensive. it was fun and I envy the people who go every year, but you're right it was a once in a lifetime, at least for us, thank goodness not for our team!

I just found a website with 2 tickets to next years SuperBowl, 3 nights hotel and a reception party for $7000!!!!! yikes, think i'll take my chances with the lottery!

They were $800 each this year for just the ticket to the game.
