Super Walmart?

Does anybody know if they are open 24 hours? Is the deli counter open late as well? I'm debating on going myself or using WeGoShop so I need to know all my options.

Our Superwalmart is 24 hour if that helps you any. However, I suspect the deli is not 24 hour. Perhaps you could locate the one near Disney on Walmart's website for additional info.

I don't think the deli is open 24 hours but I suggest you give them a call.

Our Super Wal-Mart is opened 24 hours but the deli is not. I am not sure what time they close but they donot open until 9:00 am in my city.

Just a little heads up if you are planning on going to the Super Walmart in Orlando on arrival...avoid it like the plague. We made the mistake of going a couple of years ago and you would have thought the Mother of all Hurricanes was coming that way and they were the only store left open on the planet. Anything and everything we needed was literally not there. Empty shelves everywhere. Really, it was that bad. I had the beginnings of a panic attack setting in because I got separated from DH and I honestly could not find him for 30 minutes in that sea of people. It was like a bad movie. Really, it was that bad. We asked an associate if it was like that all the time and she said that they are consistently the busiest Walmart there is (on the planet) She said they pulled in 3 million the week before. There are lots of other grocery stores, etc out there. Publix is pretty close to the gates I think and they are much less panic inducing.

I've spent a lot of time at that Super Walmart in Kissimmee. That's where we shopped when I was in the College Program, and we've gone there on our trips back to the World.

We've only gone very late at night, because it is so busy. I don't know about 24-hour, but I know we have been there quite a few times between 11pm and 2am.

Ugghh! The Wal-Mart near WDW is an absolute zoo! (most Wal-Marts with supermarkets inside are, but Orlando is pure pandemonium)

It is well worth the extra expense to stop and shop at a regular supermarket!

Also, we have bought the pre-packed deli meats at Wal-Mart when the regular deli was closed, and they were fine.

Yikes, you guys have me scared now!! Can you tell me specifically which WalMart to avoid? I hear there are a lot there...

Also, can anyone tell me which WalMart is closest to POR?

This is the new Wal Mart you should go to. If you go to walmart.com and then store locator, go to this store you can print out directions from POR to this store. There is also a Super Target if you continue down a little ways on 192.

I was planning on stopping at the SuperWalmart when we get in, maybe around 5?? Would it be busy on a Friday night at that time?? Also are there any restaurants near it?? Or inside??

Why not visit this one? It is newer. It is up the road from the old Super Wal Mart. That have worked on refurbishing the other one on 192.

If you are going to the one on 192 from WDW you would pass this one before the one you intend on shopping at. Lots of places to eat on192. There is also a Super Target on 192.

Maybe I should just use WeGoShop! I would be going after we go to Medival Times so it would be around 10:00 pm. I'm thinking it wouldn't be too crowded..it will be a Saturday night though..... If I do go it will be to the new one.

If you are going after Medieval Times, that is right next to the Super WalMart on 192, and it should not be soooo busy at 10pm. I also, highly recommend the Super WalMart on 535 (Vineland Road) It is brand new, maybe open 3 -4 months now, it is cleaner and more organized than the one on 192. I have never found it to be as busy. The Super Target right on 192 near both Super WalMarts is very new too, maybe 9 months, or a year. I like to shop there, also. You can always mapquest directions, but if you get on 535 (Osceola Parkway) it is a nice drive, it is a toll road, but none of the stop lights and traffic that you have on 192! Expensive, but really nice deli and grocery store, the brand new Goodings in Celebration!

I'll look into the SuperTarget and Goodings too. I'm going to basically only need perishables anyway...we are driving so we can pack alot of stuff (cereal, snacks, etc.).

How do we get there from the airport and from there to the All Stars? The original plan was to check in first, then make a road trip, but now I think we may just swing by to get some stuff on the way to the All Stars.
