Super Star Birthday

My daughter has informed me that while we are at Walt Disney World she wants to celebrate her "Super Star Birthday." Apparently a "Super Star Birthday" is when you turn the age of the day of your birthday. For example, my daughter will be turning 13 on December 13. So not only will this birthday make my little girl an official teenager, but it is her "Super Star Birthday." Sounds like our family should do something extra special to celebrate this special Birthday. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

How about taking her some place really nice like CG! It is very "sophisticated", a good birthday memory for her!

I love the super star birthday idea. I've never heard of that.
No specific suggestion-- I just had to post because although my birthday is not in December it is on a 13th. Everyone I have met (including my brother) that has a 13th birthday seems to have an immediate bond. I think it is that ever so often Friday the 13th birthday or something. I think, though, 13 is a very lucky number

We always called them "Golden Birthdays." Maybe you could do an Illuminations or Wishes cruise?

How about making matching t-shirts for everyone in your party! There is a great thread about this on the theme park forum.

December 13 is my birthday too! But I never knew about Superstar Birthdays...
My kids are the 23rd; not sure they'll want a Superstar Birthday at that age!!

You could have tea at the Grand Floridain resort and pre order her the cinderella slipper or a mini castle cake for her special day. Also something very fun that she might like is to go parasailing at the contemporary resort. You go up very high and you can see the Magic KIngdom. I also think that a wishes cruise is a good idea also.

I will be celebrating my 30th birthday on the 30th of August, but we will be in Disney August 5th-11th...is that too early to celebrate?
