Super Soap Weekend

I'll be there this November during Super Soap Weekend (purely coincidental timing). I was a soap fan in my college days, but haven't watched in years! Can anyone give me some details about this event? Would a non-soap fan have any interest? Thanks!

It is just the ABC soaps; All My Children; One Life and General Hospital. The best place to read about what is going on is to go to the SoapZone.com as it gets closer to the trip and read about it. Those are real soap fans (not very many are Disney Savey) but you'll get a real good idea of the things they plan. I've found the General Hospital page will probably give you the most information.

I would imagine that if you aren't a soap fan, this wouldn't hold much interest.

My friend and I have gone twice. The first time was purely on a whim and for a girls weekend away from the dhs and kids. We had a ball! The weather was in the 90's, we hung out by the pool and at MGM, took in MK,did some Christmas Shopping in the Christmas stores and even did some spa treatments at GF. Hit PI one of the nights as well. It's a lot of fun. We are GH fans and have been since the early Luke and Laura days so it was great to see Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) and Steve Burton (Jason, GH). Susan Lucci is a big draw too.
