Super Soap Weekend 2008?

Friday would usually be our Epcot F&W night but not this year. We have never gone to the MVMCP so we are looking forward to it. Between that and the Osborne lights my youngest DD is never going to want to leave.

According to wdwinfo the dates for the Osborne Family Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios are November 28, 2008 through January 4, 2009, much later this year than years past. I was hoping they would be on after SSW, but according to this it won't be .

I am getting in early Fri afternoon. I have an annual pass so I might go to EPCOT that evening and walk around.

My b/f has Cerebral Palsy and is in a motorized wheelchair. I have to help him dress, transfer him into the chair etc. Being at a theme park at 2am is not a possibility for us, it upsets me as well that people get in line that early since he is not physically able to do this, but we just deal with it.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Greg? 2 more weeks. I've been MIA lately. I've been mad busy getting ready and working, etc.

I can't wait....You probably have already said, but where are you staying?

We are staying at Pop Century. Bill wants to see Kelly Monaco, I wonder why ? I am not worried about seeing Kassie, she comes up to the barricade and talks to people.

We just got back from Disney on Monday, I am still tired . I have to look at the list again to see who else we are wanting to see.

I know Saturday will be our "sit in the wheelchair corral" day, then Sunday we will venture around looking at the actors.

I'm counting down the days too. I'm really looking forward to it...I get this way around any event that I go to. LOL. I don't know why I get so excited though. It'll be good to see Greg and Kelly again.

The weather in Florida has been pretty cold. It's been warm lately though. I check into Beach Club on the 14th and check out the 17th.

I'm a big OLTL fan and this is my first SSW (and obviously, the last). I would love to meet Erika and possibly Bree. I don't plan on getting up super early to stand in line. What do you think my chances are for FP for them? Do they have separate lines outside the park? How fast does the line go once they start? I need to prep DH..he's not too thrilled about it to begin with.

We are arriving at 8:43 am on Thursday the 13th. Should be at the hotel by 10:30 am. Can't wait!

You are so lucky to stay at the Beach Club. I had it for the original weekend, but it wasn't available when the date changed. I was hoping the week push back wouldn't mean the weather would be too cold. It is a great escape in Nov. to go down to FL and spend a few days in the pool. Is it really that cold?

OLTL tends to be the shortest line each year. In my experience I have gone through the GH line twice and then walked over to OLTL and gotten a ticket. Not sure which actors go the fastest, but that has been my experience. The lines are long and tedious, but it is fun and the time passes when you have someone to chat with.

Call up Disney....see if you can change your resort. With the way the economy is, there have been some cancellations. You might be lucky enough to get a cancellation, but don't know what room type you'd end up with.
