Super Soap Weekend 2008?

Hello! I also had a fastpass for Kelly last year! She is very cool! Just wondering if you had any idea what kind of surprises are in store for Saturday and if they are also going to do them on Sunday? I'm asking because my mom can only make it one of the days and wants to make it the best one. Any tips or even thoughts on what you think would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all the cool info you have already shared! Bummer about this being the last year, huh. We will just have make it the best!

How does rain affect SSW? Not just s shower but a good storm. In particular, what happens with the autograph sessions? I know we will just put on ponchos and go. Has this happened in the past?

since there's no chance in heck i'll stand in line to get a fast-pass, i'll just have to hang around kelly's barricade. would love to meet her. i'm hoping there's another event she goes to for this "soap nation" thing that's relatively affordable. she's by far my favorite, lol.

I have a question ... is anyone on here planning to stand in Thorsten Kaye's line and get his autograph? If so ... can you PM me?

And about the Rock the Soap Cruise ... we'd have no problem doing it, except it's just too close after SSW ... money doesn't just grow on trees

I am hopefully going on thorsten but my first fast pass is aiden's I gotta get that one lol, I really really hope it's not as hot as last year because my face was soooooo red from sun burn

Where did that rain come from?!?!?!?!? It wasn't on there a couple of days ago!!!! Everyone think positive thoughts that the rain will go away!

I just checked the 10 day forecast and they showed the sun and a chance of a few showers for both days. That's OK...as long as it's not a pouring rain day! (Accuweather says a few showers, but still sunny on sat. and sunny and cooler on sunday...)

I'll think positive thoughts for no rain!!

Kelly will do more events. She'll probably do FCW again in LA. She stopped doing them for a little bit because she didn't like the politics behind them, but she started back again last year for Greg. You should go to that. I think i'm like 75/25 on going to Rock the Soap Cruise. I am trying to bribe one of my friends to go with me. LOL. Kelly is awesome if you get a chance to meet her. BTW, I sent you a PM.

That schedule that is up is just for the shows right?? omg I can't wait lol my 5 yr old niece and 2 yr old niece told us we weren't allowed to go unless they can go, lol my 2yr old niece talks good for a 2yr old and it's just the cutest the way she says we can't go to SSW, both want Star's autograph and also GiGi because my other niece's name is Gia which we call GiGi so they like GiGi because of her name lol they also have a crush on john

On the 13th you can buy soaps in depth and it will have the schedule in there but you would think they would give us the full schedule seems like they don't know what they are doing this year

the only schedule missing is for the autographs. i don't know why they wouldn't release it. maybe they're having to change it now that susan lucci is available for both days, although she's only scheduled for one motorcade on saturday and not on sunday.

so the SID will be available on the 13th? I hate to buy it knowing it will be free at the park. The autograph session times are what i really want although I'm glad to get the motorcade schedule.

ABC Soaps in Depth is published every 2 weeks, I think it threw them off when Super Soap moved to the weekend of the 15th and 16th. If it would have been like it has been the last couple of years it would have been this weekend and it would have been published at the right time.

lol well you could just take your camera phone or bring ur camera and take a picture of the schedule on the 13th or bring pen & paper lol I don't think I'll buy it either since we get one free hopefully someone will post it online before that

There is a partial schedule on SoapNet. It doesn't list where or when everyone will be signing autographs, but it does have times for motorcades and shows and who will be at them. Can't wait to go!!
